This property is only a few blocks from downtown so it was nice to be able to walk to shopping and restaurants. The AC was nice but the bathroom did not have a fan or window and the shower was too short because of the slope of the roof.

Carroll College move in weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO, it was a clean, very cool historic building and lot bigger than I was expecting. Great location, loved touring the cathedral and highly recommend the Helena tour trolley that runs right past the house.

Very disappointed

This was our second time staying at this property and we had an unfortunate experience during this visit. It’s obvious that a tenant living below this rental is a cigarette smoker and the smell came up thru the vents into our place. Our daughter has allergies and had to take meds because of it. Initially the manager was helpful and got the person to smoke outside, but very late that night ( when it was too late to seek other accommodation) the smoke came back with a vengeance. The next day when I reached out I was ghost lighted and texts not returned.i felt strongly we were due a refund because of the noxious odor. We found a tray with various room deodorizers and essential oils so they are very aware of this issue but choose not to let potential renters know. You have been warned.

Great location

Super cute place with comfortable beds. The home does smell like cigarette smoke and I'm not sure there's anything that can be done about it. From what we can tell it seems that maybe the house below has a smoker. The front door locks were broken and the owner said she would take care of the issue. I hate to leave a negative review but the cigarette smell is an issue that should be resolved. Maybe an ozone treatment. This isn't an old home smell it is most certainly cigarette.

Don’t stay here unless
..

Apartment smelled of cigarettes! Host acknowledged in a brief conversation that she knew about it but the listing had no caution about it. It was worse the 2nd day. There was no wifi for 24 hrs. because we had been given the wrong password! When I told the host the reply was to give the same password and tell us it was written on the fridge. Finally 24 hrs. later she sent us the correct password!

Charming Apartment

This apartment is very clean and charming located in a good neighborhood. The only thing we found wrong was that we had made reservations for four adults and three children. When we arrived, we only had four bath towels and no extra bedding to make up the couch for the children.

Comfort and location

The apartment was so comfortable and cozy. Very close to downtown but not a noisy location. Loved the view of the cathedral.

Downtown Helena

We loved the location and all the furnishings were great. The stairs turned into a challenge as we had lots of stuff required for babies & children and skis and snowboard. We were well aware of the stairs before we rented so will choose ground floor next time.

Fun trip to Helena

This VRBO was perfect for our trip to Helena. The porches and cool decor of this historic apartment added to our vacation vibe. Teens loved the air hockey. Close to downtown and walking mall, so we got to see the best of the city by foot. We recommend staying here.

Cute as a Button

We had an amazing stay at this property. Easy and fast communication with the owner, who was so flexible with our plans as well. Location is perfect, just across the street from the cathedral and a short walk to downtown. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked and the place is roomy!
