Located in the the most walkable and vibrant neighborhood in the city, The Heights, this wonderful home that can sleep 6 is LESS THAN ONE BLOCK AWAY from some of the hottest restaurants, retail, parks in town and the Heights & Bike Trail, Lawrence Park and new MKT Development.

This private, gated, and updated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is clean and beautifully outfitted with new furnishings. The large renovated kitchen opens up to the dining and living creating a wonderful inviting living space. TV is connected to wifi for apps but NO cable. Private backyard and gated driveway for privacy. This home is perfect for business travelers, friends, couples or families who want to be close to it all.

Lawrence Park, MKT Retail, and the Hike and Bike trail are a 1 minute walk and have city bikes for rent to explore the greater Heights.

MKT is great place to get coffee in the morning, lunch or dinner, juice or ice-cream after some park time, and people watch during all the fun evening and weekend markets and festivals they put on! MKT has a multitude of restaurants, retail, coffeeshops. Some of our favorites:

Pedego Electric Bikes, Homestead Kitchen and Bar, Honeychild's Sweet cream ice cream, La La Land Kind Coffeeshop, Tight Squeeze Juice Bar, Union Studio Yoga, Venetian Nail Spa, DeGama - amazing restaurant, AND SO MUCH MORE!

Perfect Heights Location

PERFECT height location. Great clean home. One of the only spots in Houston that’s walkable to many places to eat and drink. Pet friendly, our dog loved it. 5/5 stars.

Great home and location

My family and I stayed here during a local remodel and loved the location. Neighborhood felt safe and home has a driveway gate that was nice for the kids to play in a secured space. The street doesn't get a ton of through traffic, which made it easy to walk to the great restaurants and parks nearby. Owner was very communicative and responded immediately regarding questions or concerns. Would stay here again!

Home Away From Home

After a two day drive, we were thrilled to find this recently renovated property was so enjoyable and easy for the entire family to relax. It was super clean and the kitchen had a great supply of cookware, utensils, and appliances we used for many of our meals. The yard was also a perk for our small dog and we really appreciated the gate for added security. We also were able to take advantage of the great neighborhood including being within walking distance to restaurants and trail. We really enjoyed our stay!

Christmas in Houston 2022

We spent a week over Christmas in this sweet, charming rental house. We arrived the day before an Arctic blast dropped temps to the teens! Just so happens this Arctic blast froze the water pipes in the house and cracked a pipe leading to the hot water heater. This could have been a catastrophe but Kasia was PHENOMENAL!! Even tho Kasia was out of town, on vacation, she took care of us as if she was next door! She was able to get the issues fixed (on Christmas Eve morning!) and everything turned out wonderful! The house is adorable. Having a fenced in yard was perfect for us and our small rescue dog (also nice for added security). The kitchen is updated & large and the house is generally quite comfortable. It was very nice having access to a full-size washer/dryer. The diverse neighborhood was SUPER fun to explore by foot. Older cottages next door to brand new modern homes, all with their own personalities! Lots of trees, easy access to trails along the Bayou and neat stores & restaurants in the Market (just steps from the house). Overall great experience!

Hip in the Heights

You couldn't ask for a better location in the Heights! Steps away from walking trails, parks, shopping and restaurants. The house is small but had plenty of room for our family of four. The large kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary appliances and dishes, and utensils. The owner was extremely responsive and addressed all of our needs. We enjoyed our stay and loved living in the Heights for a brief time!

We are grandparents from Chicago who bought this home to be near our daughter and grandchildren in the Heights. We usually come for about 4-6 months of the year, and offer our home for rental the other months when we are out of town. House is fully furnished and stocked, but has limited personal belonging (that are locked in one closet). Our car is stored in the garage, so the garage is off limits. You may park two cars tandem in the driveway.
