Total Renovation 300' from Chili Express

This condo was renovated from top to bottom the summer of 2023. Everything is new. Kitchen, bathroom all furniture, appliances, kitchenware and textiles.

The condo is 300' from the Chili Express lift and there is a shuttle that picks you up right outside during ski season. You are also walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We can only accommodate 7 renters.

Covered parking garage and an elevator are two major amenities that are rare in Angel Fire. The laundry rooms were renovated last year with new washer & dryer unit on each floor and there is an app to pay and will also let you know when your laundry is finished.

The living room has a large "L shaped" sectional that is big enough to sleep two children with one on each section. There is no sleeper sofa. This condo is perfect for a family of 5-6. There is a large TV over the electric fireplace so you never need to purchase firewood and can have a fire throughout your stay. Enjoy our free WIFI and the TV is set up with DISH Network. You are also able to sit outside and watch people walk by on either one of the two the balconies. This complex is pet free. So, please no pets.

The kitchen is newly renovated with granite, all new appliances, dishes, pots, pans and everything you need for a home cooked meal. There is a dining room that seats 5 comfortably and three at the kitchen breakfast bar.

The master has a king bed with a second electric fireplace and TV. It also boasts a private bath with walk in shower. The second balcony is off of the master bedroom for breakfast or coffee.

The second bedroom has two double bunk beds and a trundle. Perfect for a family.

There is a ski locker across from the elevator on the entry floor and a bike storage room in the garage that is secure and accessible with a key.

There are so many things to do in Angel Fire year round. During the summer, It is one of the best locations for mountain biking in the US with music festivals, balloon festival, hiking, horseback riding, all types of fishing and with a short drive, you are able to go river rafting, visit the Rio Grande Gorge as well as casinos and vineyards. Winter sports include, skiing, snowboarding, sledding and you are a day trip from Taos Ski Valley and Red River ski areas.

Great Updated Condo Close to Lifts

We visited this condo with our 6 & 8 year old, a great fit for a family. Close to the lifts but with a shuttle stop right out side. The hosts communication was amazing. She was super helpful and very quick to respond. Condo was clean and as pictured. The kitchen was a little tight and didn't have much for cooking except for salt, pepper and oil but did have sponge, dish soap, dishwasher pods etc which was great. The comfy sectional made up for the tight kitchen, we were looking for a livingroom we could lounge in after skiing and this checked the boxes. Elevator was a huge plus for luggage and ski gear with younger kids. No washer and dryer in the unit but there is washer and dryer on that floor. There was a faint odor from the hot water sometimes but it wasn't a big deal to us. The building locks had a new key cut that we had to use for access but it was very difficult to get open and into the building, this is the only negative I can think of, and out of control of the host. By the time we left there was someone from the HOA that had come to unlock the main door so hopefully this issue has been addressed, but worth mentioning just in case. We'd definitely stay again and recommend this specific unit and any others managed by this fantastic host.

Great location for skiing!

Look no further for your next Angel Fire ski vacation rental! This place is great! Covered parking. Bus shuttle stop right outside the building. The luggage cart provided was extremely helpful too. Full kitchen and full size fridge were great for a family eating-in. Beds were comfortable. The only turn offs I would point out are the sulfur smell when running the water and the street lights pour in to each bedroom at night (bring an eye mask, if sensitive.) The vertical blinds need to be replaced with blackout curtains. Everything else was fantastic though. Can’t beat this location to shops and restaurants.

Great stay - very nice condo and location

Very nice stay. Nicely renovated, well stocked and very close to lifts. Nice that they have a ski locker (bring your own lock). Good clear communication with manager. Bunk bed is big and large sofa in living room. Love the pizza stop next door - some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.

Cozy condo, close to slopes

We enjoyed this condo. We loved the coziness of it and the distance to the slopes. The new televisions were an amazing nice touch. We were able to log in with apps like Netflix. We used the washer and dryer that were on the same floor in the building. The host even provided individual detergents. There was plenty of covered parking. The kitchen was clean and fully stocked. It even had a K cup coffee machine. I recommend this condo.

Wonderful for families!

My husband and I took our two children, two and one, to Angel Fire after Christmas and Wendy’s condo was fantastic! Clean, comfortable, more than enough room and everything we needed for our little family. The location is perfect and the shuttle service is incredible convenient!

Unexpected Issues

Overall, the property is newly renovated and pretty much as described. I was disappointed, however, when we arrived after an 11 hour drive and found no keys in the key box. I immediately called Wendy, the owner, who was most responsive. However, she was in Texas and it took a bit to get a response from someone in the area. Not only were the keys not where they were supposed to be, but the key code box on the door wasn’t working and needed to have its batteries replaced, so just using a code wasn’t an option either. We never spoke with anyone from the property management company as it was after hours. A person with Wendy’s cleaning company managed to get the code panel on the door fixed. The key situation was confusing. Other issues: running the hot water created a strong sulphur smell, even after following instructions to alleviate it. This smell continued throughout the week any time hot water was used. Also, the balconies on the condo were filthy. The view was not wonderful but I still wanted to sit outside and the chairs and concrete were just too dirty. Finally, the TV certainly did not behave like any dish satellite tv I have ever encountered, especially in the living room. We lost the internet repeatedly. The building itself smells musty and is dirty-again, not something over which Wendy has control. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were all there. However I will not stay there again due to the age and condition of the building.

Great summer getaway

We have been wanting to get to Angel Fire for a few years now primarily to visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Wendy’s place was a perfect spot for us to stay. Although we had a couple small issues, Wendy was a very responsive and helpful host. The unit was very nicely done - I suspect one of the nicest units in the area and very clean. We will certainly consider staying there again if we are in the area!

Great Location & Updated

The unit was in a great location very close to the base lifts and in a building with covered parking. The building was secure and had a locking ski locker at the garage level. The unit appeared to be recently renovated and had new furnishings. The kitchen was small but nice. There was plenty of room for our party of 5 to sleep, eat, and commune. We would definitely return.

Great Location and Space

The condo was in a great location, it says 300 feet from the loft but it is solid up hill so it was awesome that the shuttle stops right outside the complex to take you up. The ski shops are all very close by so no matter where you rent, it’s easy access to them. The condo layout is fabulous. 2 bedrooms with ample space and each room has their own bathroom. Ski lockers downstairs were very beneficial! The beds were very cozy/warm and comfortable. Plenty of dresser space and closet space also! The living room was wonderful for a family at the end of a busy day. Very comfortable! The only notes I would make for future guests are: be sure to bring everything with you because the local store prices are insane. We had 5 guests and ran out of paper towels, given 1 trash bags, nearly ran out of toilet paper (4 girls), no hand soap in bathrooms, given 1 dishwashing pod, the kitchen is small so don’t anticipate elaborate prep meals but it’s perfect for basic meals. Bring your own food storage pieces for leftovers as we could t locate all the pieces of what they provided. The broom and vacuum you are provided for cleaning up while you stay is toy like, so it didn’t work well for cleaning up after a family! None of which would prevent me from booking again, just a heads up and now we know for next time. BUT all in all I would absolutely stay here again! Wendy was great at communicating quickly!

Perfect location!

Our family of 6 stayed in the condo for four nights and loved it! The location was awesome, some days we walked to/from the ski area but if we were exhausted we took advantage of the shuttle that runs every few minutes. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, the beds were comfy and there are plenty of extra pillows and blankets in case someone needs to sleep on the sofa (which may be the comfiest spot in the house.) We enjoyed the gas fireplace/heaters both in the living area and master bedroom. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and the showers were amazing after a long day on the slopes. Lastly, communication with the property owner was fantastic—Wendy provided ample info and always responded quickly to my questions. We are already talking about coming back again next year!!! Highly recommend this condo.
