Welcome to Mountain Meadows 202, a large spacious condo near the lifts of Angel Fire Mountain! Newly updated with high-end renovations throughout! This 2-bedroom + Loft with 3 full baths will be sure to please the whole gang. As you enter the light-filled unit you will be thrilled with the magnificent views of New Mexico's tallest mountain, Wheeler Peak, AND the expansive views of the wetlands where you can spy all kinds of wildlife. The great-room has vaulted tongue and grove ceilings, a new modern stacked-stone propane fireplace, and a chic chandelier, giving the feeling of luxury. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, custom hard-wood cabinetry, and slab granite countertops. Down the hall is the downstairs primary bedroom with a king-sized bed and an attached updated en-suite bathroom which is also accessible from the hallway. Upstairs you'll find another large king bedroom with an attached bath. Also upstairs is the spacious loft bunk-room (the loft as a third non conforming bedroom). The loft has a triple bunk (twin over double over queen), a game table, and plenty of seating -- a kids true delight! A third bathroom is conveniently located in the hallway for the 'bunk tribe' to use. The condo is decorated with tasteful high-end furniture in every part of the home. We loved the location. The views of the mountains were great, as well as, a perfect location for watching the sunsets. The condo is close to the wetlands and to walking trails. The only problem is lack of a washer and dryer, but that’s no issue if you’re staying short term.

Quiet location and yet close to the grocery store.

We loved the location and were given directions to get inside and were given the number to call if we needed help. Very quiet condo, and if you buy a hummingbird feeder, they will come!

The biggest thing was the horrible strong sulfer odor in the water, especially in the kitchen. We had to drain the whole hot water heater to get rid of it! It also smelt in the upstairs bathroom sink, all of the time. What we really loved was the view from the balcony and the hummingbirds!There was dust on the furniture and decor. The rug in the kitchen was a safety hazard and they were a little tired looking all over. The cleaning service could be better. Also the coffee maker was not clean. I had to clean it myself.The upstairs bedroom curtains did not cover all of the windows either which was annoying with the bright sun coming in, in the morning.Thank you!

We sincerely apologize for the strong sulfur odor in the water, particularly in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom. We were not aware that you were experiencing this issue during your stay, as it was not brought to our attention at the time. Please note that some of the water lines in Angel Fire are older, and when hot water heaters are not used regularly, a sulfur-like odor can sometimes develop. Typically, running the hot water and draining the water heater for approximately 10–15 minutes helps clear the odor. Unfortunately, this is an issue out of our control, but we are happy to provide guidance to guests if they experience it during their stay. We also apologize for the cleanliness concerns, including the dust, coffee maker, and condition of the rugs. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful balcony views and watching the hummingbirds. Thank you again for your honest and detailed feedback. It is very helpful to us as we continue working to improve the guest experience.

Minutes from the base lodge

Great location only about 10 minute walk or shuttle ride to the base lodge of Angel Fire. The house was as listed and was clean and ready for us. I would recommend this for any one looking for a 3 bedroom house to rent in Angel Fire.

Thanksgiving getaway

Great view and location!

Excellent location out of the congestion of the resort and lifts. Perfect for families and small groups. Minimal stairs, easy parking and corner view of the valley. Great kitchen and amenities. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. Shuttle stop nearby. Triple Bunk room is awkward, bit worn but ok for young kids.

Best view. Great, quiet location, close to everything in town and on the mountain. Would recommend anyone concerned about stairs view the tub in the downstairs master. One member in our party has knee issues and that shower/tub combo posed an issue for her as its a high step. There is also an annoying blinking blue light in the downstairs master that disturbed sleeping. But overall a clean, comfortable condo. We enjoyed wildlife viewing from the balcony/living room daily. Loved the hummingbirds. Would recommend, with awareness of the two items mentioned.

Mountain Meadows Great Place

This is a nice updated condo. We had five in our group and I would say that it was a pretty good size for us. Only thing I didn’t like is that it didn’t have a washer and dryer for their guests. Which that is probably my fault bc I just assumed it would. Not far to drive to parking lot to get to slopes. You could walk up hill to the shuttle bus stop, but we did not. Overall great stay!

We have a sort of mixed review of this property. The location is great and the views are lovely. It’s a nice mix of lively during the day and quiet at night. Lots of deer around and a great area to walk or explore. Check in is easy; lots of info is provided upfront. The unit itself is nicely laid out. However, there are some things that make it feel more like a hotel versus a vacation rental. The rugs are very used and dirty. The windows in the downstairs bedroom were difficult to open- which was frustrating because you need air flow in a unit with no AC in the summer, The screen on the balcony door stuck and didn’t close fully. The balcony had two broken posts on the left side making it unsafe for young children. The pillows and linens felt worn down. The trash situation is a little odd- you have to drive any trash you accumulate to a separate location at check-out. When you already have a full car it was just an extra thing to manage that I didn’t anticipate. Overall, I’d say it’s nice for adults but not great for families with young children. The listing photos make it look a bit more new and modern than it is in functionality.
