The location of this property was ideal, being right on the water and still so close to town and all the fun things to do in Alexandra. The owner was quick to respond when a storm came through and there was some damage done to the dock. They quickly got people out there to fix it so we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. There was 8 of us staying at the house, and there was plenty of room. The main bedroom has lots of windows, it would be nice if there were some blinds on them for privacy and to keep the sun out. The backyard has a beautiful patio with a great view, however there really isn’t space for anything other then the patio. There is a large front yard on the other side of the house. There are many stairs to get to and from the dock. Our family did get in the water one time off the dock, however it was quite weedy. Fishing was decent off the dock.

Great stay
Stay was great. Cabin was clean. Owner was very accommodating with our larger group and kept us well informed leading up to and during the trip. Would recommend for future trips.

Best Vacation Ever
This property was perfect for our group of family and friends for a weeks stay in Alexandria. The house is beautiful and spacious with a wonderful view of the lake. We really enjoyed the large deck. We grilled most of our meals, enjoyed sitting around the fire at night and watching the sunrise in the morning. The only two things I think should be added are window coverings on the bedroom and a broom for sweeping. The dock is wonderful but the stairs leading to it should be replaced. We had a wonderful time during our stay and are hoping to come again next year!
