The Queen B

This cheerful, spacious home is perfect for a family or two, or a group of friends. This quiet, but centrally-located spot is 0.7 miles (a 10 minute walk) to the beach, and is within a short walking distance to plenty restaurants, sweet treats, beach shops, grocery store, and more. You'll love having room for up to 11 guests with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a sunroom, fully-equipped kitchen, front and back covered porches, living room, laundry room, workspace with a desk, and huge 2 car garage.
The space
This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath has incredible space for your group to enjoy time at home or exploring all of the fun and sun that Oak Island has to offer.

LIVING ROOM/KITCHEN/DINING AREA: The open living room, kitchen, and dining areas will be perfect for your whole group to gather, share a meal, and decompress.

SUN ROOM: Located off of the primary bedroom on the first floor, this space includes a roomy sectional that turns into a sleeper sofa, sleeping 2 guests.

BEDROOMS: The first floor, primary bedroom includes a King bed and an attached full bath. The second bedroom, located on the second floor, offers a Queen bed as well as a twin daybed. The third bedroom (we call this the “kids’ room”) includes a Full size bed and two Twin beds. All bedrooms have clothing storage, both dressers and closets for you to unpack and make our home your own, even for a short time.

OFFICE WORKSPACE: Located in the foyer on the second floor, if you DO have to work while on vacation at our place, you’ll have a comfortable, somewhat private space to do so.

FRONT PORCH: Sip your morning coffee or watch the evening sunset in our rocking chairs.

BACK PORCH: A screened in porch out back is a great place to step outside and breath in the salty air.

Guest access
You’ll have full access to the entire home, garage, front and back yards.

Other things to note
We require guests who rent our home to be at least 21 years of age.

We provide beach towels, a few beach chairs, a beach cart, and beach toys. We simply ask that if you damage any of these items during your stay, kindly replace it.

We had an amazing time for a quick weekend trip with the kids and grandparents! The house was beautiful and well maintained with a good amount of space. There were tons of things available in the garage to make the beach days even better from toys to games, chairs, wagons etc. In the end it did not matter for our stay, but the listing could have been more clear in calling out 4 bedrooms as one of the “bedrooms” is a common space that does not have a door and is the only access for the master. Overall it was a great stay and we would visit again!

Quiet street.

I couldnt believe how quiet the neighborhood was. It was lovely. The outdoor shower was the best! The home was nice with roku in each of the 3 bedrooms and in the living room area.The hosts were VERY responsive.Be aware that there are not crosswalks to walk to the beach, but the cars drive slowly on the 3 lane road and some will stop for you to cross. The hosts had sun shades, beach carts, towels, beach blankets, cooler packs, and boogie boards all available that we used.

Great home in a great location!

We went for a long weekend with a group of friends. The house was even better than the photos! Our only issue was an error with the door code so check in was a little nerve racking but once we got in, I couldn’t have been happier! The rooms were comfy, the amenities were great, and we were able to rent a golf cart!

They thought of everything.it was close to everything. Everything we needed to have a great time. The owners were responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend it. They corrected the website for checkout time and honored the later time for us. Great for family.

Beautiful house

I’ve stayed in a few different rentals across the country and this was by far the best I’ve stayed. The cleanliness was immaculate, the owners were so kind and responsive. The house had so many thoughtful touches. It rained a lot while we were there so the puzzles and games kept everyone entertained. The coffee bar was a great touch in the dining area. The outdoor shower was incredible and all the activities in the garage and beach accessories were so appreciated. If we visit oak island again, we will definitely be booking this home.

Oak Island

We had an awesome experience. House was in a perfect location in a quiet neighborhood that was convenient to beach, grocery store, restaurants. There were a ton of kids toys and books for our daughter. Plenty of beach gear was there if needed. House was very clean and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Absolutely recommend and look forward to booking again.

Love Queen B and Oak Island

It was our first trip to Oak Island and honestly, we weren't sure what to expect. Queen B looked nice and conveniently located so we took a chance. Boy, were we happy! The house is centrally located between the intercoastal and the beach with an easy walk to both. The grocery stores, gift shops, and restaurants are also an easy walk. The description on the house doesn't do it justice. The main floor features a lovely front deck with table that's great for breakfast and morning coffee. The main floor is split between and primary bedroom, tv room, and open living / dining / kitchen. It is great for gathering in and family dinners plus a well-stocked kitchen. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms that's perfect for whole family or 2 groups of kids. Super clean and well furnished with nice linens. Not shown is the covered garage that's turned into a game room with ping pong, pop a shot, grill, table, 5 bikes, a slew of beach chairs, and beach games. The outdoor shower was convenient for washing off sand each day. Jeff the host also rented his 6-person golf cart with turbo radio to us. So much fun! Jeff was fantastic and helped us with the minor issues that we had. Moreover, the beach at Oak is beautiful and not crowded. Don't miss Southport too if you visit. Overall, we loved Queen B and only wish that Jeff adds a pool for next year!

Just what we were looking for!

Our few night stay at The Queen B was the perfect getaway and left us feeling refreshed and recharged. Thoughtful touches throughout the house and well equipped amenities. Check in process was straight forward and communication from the host was very responsive. Would highly recommend.

Relaxing and amazing stay at The Queen B

This unit is exactly as shown and stated. We had a wonderful tranquil stay. The amenities were carefully, thoughtfully, and conveniently provided. Really comfortable and cozy furnishings. You can tell the owners really know how to make you feel welcomed. Location near stores, restaurants and beach is perfect! Quiet neighborhood with ample parking. The fenced yard is excellent for pets and privacy. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

Amazing house - great location!!!

This house has everything; ping pong table, beach chairs, cookware, etc. Walking distance to the beach, restaurant, ice cream, grocery store, etc. We will definitely stay here in the future!!
