We now sleep 8!! New ownership as of October 2023!
Enjoy the island life in this beautiful 3 bedroom home. Fully equipped kitchen, dining table seats 4 with breakfast nook seats 2. Spacious living room with large flat screen Roku TV. Brand new LVP flooring throughout. New sectional sofa! Beautifully landscaped fenced in back yard. Master bedroom has king size bed, flat screen Roku TV and en suite bathroom, as well as private exit to huge back patio. Second bedroom has a queen bed and flat screen TV. Third bedroom has twin beds, and full size bed perfect kids room. Minutes from beach access and gorgeous scenic walk over the canal. Well mannered, potty trained pets welcome. We want you and your family and friends to have a relaxing, enjoyable, care free vacation.
***We do not provide linens. You can contact Sharon’s linens for services if you do not wish to bring your own.***

“The Ideal Oak Island Stay”

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Oak Island! The house was spotless, well-stocked, and perfectly located—just a short walk to the beach. The dĂ©cor was cozy and welcoming, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and we loved relaxing on the porch in the evenings. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure our stay was perfect from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back!

Had a great stay while visiting Oak Island. This was our first time at this property, and it was well worth it. 36th street is a great location - within biking distance of a main beach entrance, the grocery store, farmers market, etc. The house was clean and the back yard was really nice for our dogs. Kim communicated throughout the trip and made sure we had everything we needed. Small thing, but my 7 y/o loved the tree swing in the front yard :)

Cute family space

The communication with Kim was great, she was helpful with any issues we had, which were all small. The house was clean and the yard was a decent size so that our dog could play. I'd absolutely come back again

Just right!!

5 of my family did a quick travel to see our sister in Southport and chose to stay here. It was a delight. We are all senior citizens and was grateful to find a rancher with no steps except to get in. Property as described. Kim kept in touch and was always available for questions. The outdoor setting provided ample space for hanging out.Will return to this property.

Rental to attend Granddaughter’s wedding

While our stay was only 2 nights, the accommodations were perfect for our family and my Chihuahua, Harley. The house was very clean and you could not tell that this rental allowed pets! We will certainly stay again on our next trip to Oak Island, NC.

two great weeks in OKI

We fully enjoyed our time on the island and this property. It was the perfect stay for us and our two dogs. The fenced yard was great! The house has plenty of room for a family as well. It was clean and the kitchen was roomy and had a good selection in dish ware. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly residents were around us. The beach was only a short walk away, however we decided to go to Caswell beach which was just a few miles away and almost no people there. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We definitely would recommend this property to anyone interested.

We only stayed for one night, but it was the perfect quick stay. The house was clean, cozy and just as pictured. The beds were comfortable. The host was very sweet and communicative!

very pleased with our stay here, house was comfortable and the fenced yard is a plus for anyone traveling with pets, a short walk to beach. the host was in communication with us prior to our stay about emergency roof repairs which were completed before arrival. definitely will stay here again.

Wonderful beach house

We loved our stay. Communication was excellent and the house was perfect for our needs. A quick 2 minute drive to public beach access was perfect for a family with kids to easily go back and forth. We loved being able to include our fur family on vacation as well.

Nice little spot

We very much enjoyed our stay at Seas The Day! in Oak Island. I would say that it was very much as advertised. Great for our family of 5 and our dog. Just a short (2 to 3 min) drive or walk to the beach. Excellent accommodations for the price that you pay.

If you’re looking for a great place to stay for your vacation Seas the Day was fabulous!! It was clean, great communication with the owner/host. Not to far from beach. It was a great experience for the first time visit to Oak Island.

Great place to stay!

We primarily stay at VRBOs rather than hotels and have to say that this was one of the best! Great communication with the owner, everything was just as advertised. Comfortable bed, kitchen had everything we needed, and the yard with fire pit was great. Very dog friendly but didn’t smell like dogs inside! About. 12 minute walk to the beach was doable with kids.

This is our second stay Both stays 2 weeks +. Great property and very pet friendly. Outdoor space was enjoyed by all! Neighborhood is flat and very walkable and bikeable. A casual 15 minute walk to beach.

Family Island Getaway-Perfect getaway!

Wonderful little house. Very comfortable and spacious for a small house. Outdoor areas are such a huge bonus, only wish we were staying longer to take advantage of the fire pit. Was close to the VFW event we were in town for. Loved the island and hope to visit again!
