Relax on our spacious porch with views of Sherman's Creek and Pisgah Ridge. Watch the hummingbirds during the warmer months and the wild turkeys in spring and fall. Keep an eye out for the bald eagles who are almost always overhead. Listen for the red-tailed hawks. Wander in our woods or on beautiful local trails. White-tailed deer visit early and late. Or drive to Hershey Park, nationally recognized Carlisle Car Shows, Harrisburg or Gettysburg attractions.

A charming escape

Lynne has an incredible attention to detail that made the entire stay that much more beautiful and memorable. We loved the fire pit and porch swing. Whether we were listening to the rain on the roof or looking up at the stars, that porch was perfect. We loved this stay!

Refreshingly peaceful, beautiful, and serene!

My wife and I stayed for a couple of days and it was exactly the peace and relaxation that we needed. Spacious, clean, and lovely place located in a beautiful pasture not too far from a creek. Morning walks down the road were so enjoyable and we checked out some local parks, towns, and wineries that were just a short drive away. Very highly recommend for the nature lover/solitude seeker!

Great stay for R&R

Lovely, quiet, and private stay without any neighbors in sight. House is neat, eclectic and comfortable. Large front porch is a delight to relax on. We stayed put most of our stay except for a pedicure the one morning at Little Valley Hair Salon. It was perfect for the quiet R&R we were looking for. Lynne was great about checking in through email, but gave us our privacy.
