So love the river views.....lots of nice spots to enjoy them too! Easy to walk down to the water and lovely property! Very cozy home.

Spring Family Fishing Trip

My father, brother, and myself had an amazing early spring fishing trip at this home.Rob communicated above and beyond as he even gave us tips as to where to focus fishing.The deck and grill are awesome as the view is once in a life time.The house is very comfortable, and the location is very convenient for any Angler.We will be returning.

Quiet with Stunning Views

Our host Rob met us at the property and gave us a thorough tour. And was available for any questions, which we didn't have thanks to the great intro he provided. This rental is set up as a lodge for those fishing or hunting in the area. Lots of deer, bear and fish decor. We were in the area for a family event rather than fishing, so we were most impressed with the gorgeous view of the river from the back porch. A perfect spot to sit and watch the river flow by. There was also a fire pit, hammock and seating closer to the river, that we ran out of time to use. We would book this property again if in the area.

Our sole purpose for developing this property into a vacation lodge was to provide folks with an affordable option to expensive vacations. Once you experience the beauty of this location we feel sure you’ll be a repeat guest.
We live nearby and also run a licensed and insured river charter from this location and others. Be sure to ask about charter availability and reduced rates while you’re a guest at the lodge!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This particular section of the Susquehanna River is famous among smallmouth bass anglers nationwide. We grew up in this area and can attest to the quality of the fishing here.
The views of the river and mountains are unparalleled, along with easy access to many other venues in central PA.
Our lodge is located at the western terminus of what was named St. Anthony’s Wilderness, so named by Moravian missionaries in the 1700’s. Just east of the lodge you will find what remains of the Wilderness, and to this day is still the 2nd largest roadless tract of ground in PA. This area is all public ground comprised of both State Forest and State Game Lands.

We know of no other property like ours that has been specifically designed with the sportsman in mind. Whether you’re a fisherman, big or small game hunter or waterfowler our lodge has you covered. Once you’re here there is no need to travel long distances to find what you’re looking for! Add to that your ability to book guided river charters with us or simply have us point you in the right direction, our lodge and experience is truly unique.
And, don’t forget, you don’t have to be a sportsman to take advantage of the lodge. Families or anyone wishing to experience the beauty and tranquillity of our area are most welcome!
