Welcome to The Crabby Paddy—a bright, cheerful, and inviting end-unit townhome with just a short walk to the beautiful beaches of Cape San Blas. This cozy coastal retreat offers fresh dĂ©cor, plenty of natural light, and all the comforts of home to make your stay easy, relaxing, and memorable.

Start your mornings with a peaceful stroll to the shoreline to hear the waves roll in and feel the soft sand beneath your feet. Spend the day soaking up the sun, searching for shells, swimming, or simply unwinding on the quiet beaches of the Forgotten Coast. In the evenings, head back out to catch one of our unforgettable Gulf sunsets—you can even build a small beach fire and roast hot dogs or s’mores while you watch the sky glow.

When you’re ready to relax, The Crabby Paddy welcomes you with fresh paint, clean and simple coastal dĂ©cor, and a warm, homey feel. The kitchen is fully stocked for guests who enjoy cooking, but you’re also just a short drive from some of the area’s best fresh-seafood restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable and it’s in a great location! The quiet gated community close to the State Park was exactly what we were looking for. We’ll definitely consider staying here again when we visit the Cape!

The Crabby Paddy was beyond perfect! One of the best places we have stayed and Eve was the perfect host. She has all the little details covered. As big coffee fans, the coffee bar she has set up was our favorite! The master king size bed was very comfortable. The condo location was perfectly situated near one of the pools and just a short stroll to the beach access and the beach pool. The outdoor shower and garage closet were a plus to rinse off after a day at the beach. We have no complaints! Great stay!

Amazing stay!

The property was everything we could have hoped for and more! Eve was easy to reach and responded immediately when we had a question. There were even board games for us to play when we had a rainy day and couldnt go to the beach. During our stay, there wasnt a single thing we found ourselves needing that wasnt already there! Overall, I have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend this beautiful condo for anyone looking to take a relaxing vacation! We will definitely be back!

Visiting the Cape

We were just on the Cape for a few days of fishing. The accommodations could not have been cleaner nor could the host have been more helpful. I’ve stayed a the Barrier Dunes many times and this property rates at the top.

We will be back! The townhome had EVERYTHING you could ever need! We had gone shopping before arriving and we didn't need to buy anything such as trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing pods, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This property was the best experience I've had to date with vrbo. The owner made every possible effort to supply everything we might need, and then some. The only thing that could be improved was the cleanliness of the glassware. And that could be improved by having the housekeeping team check that guests clean up after themselves better.

Exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed the coffee bar. Short walk to beach. Very quiet community
 we took walks every night w kids. Eve was very accommodating and I always make sure to rent from an actual owner vs a big company because communication is so much easier. Will def look here first to rent if we come back to this area and hope it’s available! Thanks again

The property was accurately described. It was very clean. We enjoyed the pickleball courts which were in close proximity to the townhouse. A short walk to the beach. Eve was hospitable and more than willing to assist in any manner. Checked in with us via email to make sure all was okay. Thankfully, nothing went wrong during our stay.

My new home away from home

The BEST unit in Barrier Dunes. Clean, fresh, and well appointed you could swear you're staying in your own house. There is nothing to lack for when you show up. The owner's directions and communications are spot on and very detailed leaving nothing to question. Bottom line if you want a great place to stay this unit is for you. I really appreciate the effort that Eve has put into this property to make it the best!

I am a beach girl at heart. I grew up in the Virginia Beach, VA area and spent a lot of time at the beach growing up. I have always wanted to be back at the beach and to have a property that was fun and comfy to visit with our family whenever possible. We have lived in Texas for the past 25 years, but also did a stint in the Midwest before moving to Texas. We found a great place on Cape San Blas to occasionally get our “beach fix”, but to also share it with you! This property is managed by us and not a property management company. We care about this property very much and want you to make yourselves at home! We are readily available should you have questions. We hope you love it as much as we do!

This property has been freshly painted, updated furniture, and stylish decor was added! The beds are nice and comfortable. The kitchen stocked with hopefully anything you need to make a fabulous meal. We love this property because it is a very quick walk to the beach on the Gulf and is such a beautiful beach! The neighborhood, Barrier Dunes, is full of friendly people and low to no traffic for kids to ride their bikes or scooters. Cape San Blas is a small beach town without any of the large hotels and crazy nightlife. We want you to come have fun but also relax at the beach, the pool, or on the deck! Enjoy!

You have all the comforts of home with two comfortable beds!

BATHROOM:
Linens, towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap/toilet paper, hair dryer in each bathroom for your convenience. Should be enough to get you through your stay!
KITCHEN:
stocked with pots, pans, casserole dishes, serving pieces, plates, bowls, utensils, knives, wine opener, blender, mini waffle maker, and pretty much anything you need for meal prep.
+Basic spices (and then some), paper towels, mayo, ketchup, mustard in frig (and then some) should be enough to get your started and possibly for your whole stay.
+Cleaning supplies under the sinks if needed.
+Snack jars on kitchen counter stocked with candy and nuts (or possibly other type of snacks) for your snacking pleasure!
+Charcuterie board to create your own masterpiece.
COFFEE BAR:
has a dual Keurig with options for a K-Cup to make a single cup of Joe, or to make a whole pot of coffee. A few coffee pods and coffee grounds provided to get you started along with sweetener packets and a few flavored syrups, too!
BEACH:
2 Boogies boards, 4 beach chairs, 1 backpack cooler, 1 umbrella, 1 beach cart to haul items down to beach, 2 Kadema paddles + ball, beach towels. 1 fishing pole and large white bucket added.
+Games (Scrabble, Checkers, Backgammon, Scattergories, What the Meme, Cards of Humanity, a deck of cards), and some beach reads. +PIckleball paddles in shed where beach items are located. Bring your own tennis rackets.
+Family room TV with Fire Stick+Cable. Primary Bedroom with Smart TV/cable. Second bedroom TV with cable.
LAUNDRY ROOM:
Washer+Dryer, laundry detergent
