The Get-Away-Spot is our go yo place when we are visting our family in Midway Park. It is always clean and the hosts are awesome. The area is very safe as well.

Visiting our son who is stationed at near by Camp Lejuene.

This VRBO is a wonderful place to stay in the Jacksonville area. The owners do a fantastic job with communication and accommodations. It’s wonderful to know we have a nice, clean place to stay when we come back to visit our son again.

Pleasant property

This was such a nice place to stay. Very clean and so close to everything. Granted we weren’t there very much, but if we were, it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

We are both retired Marines who decided to make Eastern North Carolina our home. We have lived here for over 14 years. We are avid traveler's; therefore, we know the importance of having a clean comfortable space to stay when you're away from home. Ramon is our youngest daughter's sport taxi driver. While I have taken on another career as a Government Contractor. We are both easily accessible to answer any questions or take care of any issues that may occur. In our spare time, we enjoy watching our daughter play club volleyball (watching college volleyball), watching football (Dallas Cowboys & Carolina Panthers) basketball (Los Angeles Lakers), hanging with family and friends, eating seafood & barbeque. It is our hope that we create a memorable experience for you and your family that will keep you coming back!!

We feel this is the perfect spot to sit back and relax. The Get Away Spot is located in a prime location that is minutes away from shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The mall is less than a mile away with an AMC theatre located directly behind the mall. Starbucks is located directly in front of the mall as well if you need your special pick me up latte.
