Paola was very professional and the perfect hostess!We were disappointed in the condition of the home. It is clearly in need of many repairs: there are signs of water damage in several rooms, including the kitchen and main bathroom. Wall repairs have been done in several rooms, yet the spackling has never been painted, so the house looks shabby.We were only there for one night, passing thru on our way to Arizona, but we would definitely not stay there again due to the condition of the property.

The property was very clean and well cared for, even though it’s not new. Check-in was simple, and the Wi-Fi was easy to access. The location was great — close to lots of restaurants and shops, which made things super convenient.I appreciated the small touches like the personalized welcome sign, card, and chocolates — they made our stay feel special. One thing to note: the curved shower rod was placed close to the toilet, which felt a little awkward. Also, my kids were excited about the bunk beds shown in the photos, but there weren’t any when we arrived, which was a bit disappointing. Still, there were enough beds for everyone, and overall we had a comfortable stay.

The house was very nice cozy for the size of my family. Everything was perfect. The checkin was very smooth and has all the amenities. I really enjoyed the stay here.

Easter weekend stay

We stayed Easter weekend to visit my daughter, a UTEP student whose apartment is closeby. The home was spacious, clean, comfortable, and everything noted in the listing was provided. There was easy access to restaurants and stores. Paola's communication was excellent too.VRBO had sent a note prior to our checkin that must've been from a previous communication from Paola, because it also had checkOUT instructions in it. I clarified with Paola, though, and the checkout was quite easy. Some notes about the property...We could hear the traffic on Sunland Park. The house has been renovated and was mostly fine, but a couple of the doors don't completely shut. The curved shower rods were a little problematic: In the shared bath, the shower curtain encroached on the toilet. In the master bath, there was some rotted wood, because the shower curtain couldn't completely close. Also noticed some dust on a couple windowsills. El Paso has rough winds/dust storms, though, so short of replacing the windows, not sure how to prevent that. These are nitpicky items, but maybe some future guests would want to know.Overall, a pleasant stay. We've booked plenty of hotel rooms through hotels.com, but this was our first time booking a home through VRBO, and it was a good experience.
