WELCOME TO BILLIE'S BUNKHOUSE — YOUR COZY MOUNTAIN VIEW RETREAT

Escape to the heart of the Ozarks and settle into Billie’s Bunkhouse, a comfortable and family-friendly home located in Mountain View, Arkansas. With rustic charm, modern conveniences, a wraparound porch and plent of space to gather, it makes an inviting home base for exploring the area's music, rivers, caverns, trails and small-town attractions.

SLEEPING ARRANGMENTS

Billie’s Bunkhouse comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests with room for 8 when traveling with children.

One private king bedroom on the main level

Two queen beds and one twin upstairs

Two full bathrooms, one on each level

Please note that the upstairs is one large open level arranged as two distinct sleeping areas. A hallway separates the two spaces, but there are no doors between them. This setup works especially well for families and groups who are comfortable sharing a more open space.

Billie's Bunkhouse is one of two homes situated on on a peaceful residential setting. The cabin has it's own entrance, designated parking, and outdoor space so guests can settle in and enjoy a private stay. Check in is completely self-guided with no meet and greet expected. It is close to town but in a private rural setting.

Our family has always had a love for outdoor adventures and finding quaint small towns with a lot of action. No matter where we go, that tends to be the goal of the destination. Mountain View is definitely a place that fits the bill but not only does it serve this purpose for us, it also happens to be the place that my Great Grandmother was born, giving it some extra nostalgia. When this cabin came up for sale, we jumped on it as a place where our family can stay during visits but also to share our love of the area with you. We dubbed the Cabin 'Billie's Bunkhouse:" in her honor and you will notice certain places in the area that carry her family name - Pogue- such as Pogue creek. She was born at what is now the little blue inn in town. With or without the family ties, Mountain View is one of the most charming, fun and beautiful places to explore and we hope Billie's Bunkhouse will be a memorable stay for whatever adventure brings you to the area! We know you'll feel the nostalgia too!
