Welcome to the Twisted Fly located on the Toccoa River! This newly constructed vacation home custom built by Keith Sumner features jaw dropping stone accents throughout along with rustic finishes making this property picture perfect!

Your family will experience luxury in this cabin featuring 3 gorgeous bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and a fully stocked kitchen-all Viking appliances with a butler's pantry. The spacious outdoor party deck combined with two living areas inside make entertaining and relaxing seamless!

Looking to enjoy the Toccoa River in the north GA Mountains? Trout fishing or just relaxing, THIS is the Cabin! Situated on the Toccoa River for your enjoyment. Come enjoy the covered decks while watching the Sunrise or Sunset.

This place is gorgeous. It has everything you would need. The river views were gorgeous. We took our family and few friends on a weekend getaway. We had so much fun moving from the river to the hot tub. It's super convenient to town. There were deer everywhere. All the beds were super comfy! The host Nicole was super easy to communicate with. We look forward to visiting again.

We had a wonderful Spring Break at this beautiful mountain cabin! Waking up to river views, having direct river access, and enjoying the peaceful quiet of the mountains was everything we were hoping for. And yet, downtown Blue Ridge was only about 15 minutes away, making it easy to grab meals and explore the area.The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and the host was responsive whenever we had questions. We'd definitely stay again.One heads-up for larger families: the internet is quite slow. For a couple looking to unplug, that's probably a feature, but with 5 kids in tow, it was our only real challenge of the trip.Overall, a fantastic getaway and highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the North Georgia mountains and the Toccoa River!

Wonderful home. Truly private location on the river. So quiet and peaceful. Property Manager is completely accessible and lovely. Beds and furniture are comfy and in great condition.WiFi stability was our only challenge, but that is a Blue Ridge/mountains issue and NOT specific to this cabin. Highly recommend this gem!

A wonderful retreat

This was a gorgeous home with direct access to the river. Secluded but close enough to town to grab groceries and do touristy things. We loved it and will return!

Couldn’t say enough good things about our stay at Twisted Fly. Made so many family memories together, relaxed to the max, cooked all our meals in the beautiful kitchen, enjoyed the porch everyday while listening to the calming sounds of the river. The house was spotless and had everything we could have wanted and more. I could go on and on. Nicole was also amazing and made communication so easy. Counting down until we can return to this piece of paradise again.

This was a well appointed, new construction house with 2 master suites plus a 4-bunk room directly on the river. There were two nice living rooms, both with outdoor porches upstairs and downstairs overlooking the river and forest. It was very convenient to Blue Ridge and other quaint towns and restaurants. There were beautiful mountain golf courses nearby and in Elijay GA and near Copperhill TN.

Vacay by the river

Beautiful property next to the river. Kids loved playing in the water during the day and playing board games on the deck at night. Home had everything needed to hunker down and enjoy time with the family. The other big plus is the property manager, Nicole, extremely helpful and communicative.

Secluded property on the Ocoee River

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Twisted Fly! The house was beautiful and new. The property is private and we enjoyed seeing deer and turkeys while there.

Awesome view

Wow! What a view of the river, this cabin is very nice and secluded. The porch is where we stayed most of the time, cooked steaks on the grill watched the game and built a fire.

Absolutely Perfect! My husband and I take a trip to a different state each year for our anniversary. This year we ended up at the Twisted Fly on the Toccoa River. We have stayed in some beautiful places the years, but none truly as breath taking as our stay here!

Summer Fun

Nice cabin with a beautiful view! We really enjoyed the cabin and it’s high end features and amenities. Everything was wonderful with the exception of driving through a construction site to get to the home. I got a screw in my tire and had to have it plugged. The cabin also needed a more thorough cleaning some areas hadn’t been touched in a long time.

Incredible property

This is an excellent property and home right on the Toccoa River. The floorplan was perfect for two families with 2 kids each - all of the kids slept in the bunk room and each pair of adults got their own master suite. The downstairs living room was perfect for the kids to hang out in and watch a movie at night while the adults were upstairs or on the deck. The property is remote but this added to the feeling of being in nature - we saw deer several times at or near the property. While there is a home being constructed next door to this, workers were only present for one day of our stay and it did not affect our stay. We would definitely return to this property in the future!

Amazing Riverfront Property

Property was just as beautifully described, with one large disclaimer not on the listing...construction of 2 homes right next door! I want so badly to give this a 5 star review. The construction noise echoing into the river bed just killed it for me. It was so quiet and peaceful until 7:30 am then the sound of framers and their nail guns. The overall home was exactly as described and offered everything for our family of 6. Short 15 min drive to town, amazing restaurants. Secluded, private and quiet (when construction not in progress). Lots of wildlife (deer, Tennessee weasels, squirrels) I would return once the construction is finished and not in the winter, with the trees bare the other home next door is very visible. Overall great place, with poor communication by host. I did reach out to management and came to find out they and the homeowner were both aware of the construction status and offered no solution to our disrupted stay. I did appreciate the overall communication of the property manager. I just really hope the owner and manager disclose the construction on listing until complete, offering complete transparency for other renters in the near future.

This cabin is gorgeous! We absolutely loved the living spaces, back deck overlooking the river, and cooking as a family in the kitchen. We had everything we needed for our stay. The layout of the house is perfect, especially for multi generational families on vacation. The appliances are high end, which makes cooking a joy! The property manager Nicole was incredibly kind and responsive; she even offered to come out to double check on something just to make sure we were comfortable.Our kids loved the bunkroom and having their own space downstairs with us and my parents enjoyed having their main floor master for a little space in the late evening. The back deck is stunningly beautiful as it overlooks the Toccoa River and is perfect for roasting marshmallows and watching baseball games on the outdoor TV.The road to get there can be a little tricky the first time, but we got comfortable with it very quickly. Occasionally, the internet was spotty and a little slow and the cell service is nearly nonexistent sometimes (it is in the woods!). It didn’t really bother us because this wasn’t a working vacation and didn’t impact our enjoyment of the property at all.Overall, this was an awesome place to stay. We would definitely return!

We absolutely loved our stay! If you are a nature lover this place is for you. We saw deer in the river every day. We also saw a bald eagle, ospreys, otters, and even a turkey! The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Each day we put our folding chairs right in the river when the water level was low and the kids were able to play in it. We can’t wait to come back.

Very happy with this cabin

What a great cabin on the river! Didn’t want to leave. It has everything you need to have the true Blue Ridge experience. Lovely finishes, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful fireplaces and soothing spa to enjoy. Loved the sound of the water ever time you opened the door.
