Lakefront Cottage 2 min to downtown

2 bedroom Cottage with 90 ft of lakefront on Balsam Lake. Only 2 minutes to downtown BL! Beautiful view with large dock and pontoon rental if available for only $275/day plus gas. Please contact directly to reserve at: 612-408-0451.
** Rental increase to $275/day for reservations received after 1-4-2025.
Cottage is dog friendly @$30/night/per dog.
Excellent Fishing, Restaurants on the lake and so many fun things to do nearby. Visit Balsam Lake Connection-WI on Facebook for updates on local activities.
Please be advised that if I am not aware of parties bringing personal watercrafts that I can guarantee dock space. The large dock is shared with the main house next door which is also listed for rental. Each property has their own grill and firepit and the front and back yards are very spacious for all to enjoy outside lawn games. Paddle Boat and 2 Kayaks are also available for use.

Cozy Little Cottage on Balsam Lake!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy little cottage! The cottage and surrounding grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The property hosts were so helpful to ensure we had everything we needed.

Great Lake Property

Great location on a wonderful Lake! Cottage was clean and well kept and the host is wonderful. Recommend this for a great peaceful lake getaway. View, paddling and swimming were excellent.

4th of July Getaway

Debbie and her family were very accommodating, great with communication, and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Quick and easy check in, being able to rent their pontoon for 2 days, including to watch the fireworks Friday night, and all of their help with getting in and out of the dock, made our vacation a wonderful time. We definitely look forward to booking again. Thank you all for everything.

Relaxing lake time

The cabin is small and simple but all you need for a relaxing long weekend away. It was nice to rent the pontoon and get out on the lake. Balsam Lake is lovely. Deborah is a great communicator and host!

Lake vacation

Cottage was well kept and clean. Perfect location. Only 1 mile from town (Balsam Lake). Plenty of parking. Host was very accessible. Hearing the loons on the lake was a bonus!

The cottage was just as described and displayed in the listing. The property managers are super welcoming and communicative. You'll find you have everything you need for your stay. I would rent this property again. :-)

This was our second stay at this property, and we loved it just as much as the first. We rented both this cabin and the larger one next door—both were fantastic! The owners, who stay just a couple of cabins over, are incredibly kind and accommodating.The game room is a standout feature for us. It’s the perfect spot to hang out once it gets dark and the bugs come out, but you’re not quite ready to end the night. Our little ones had a blast on the lily pad, and there are a few other fun water toys available as well.The yard is spacious and shared with the larger cabin and the game room, which worked out nicely for us. Overall, this has become one of our favorite getaway spots, and we’ll definitely be back again.

Relaxing area

Lovely escape from the rush of work life. Quiet escape into nature and lake calmness. Fall leaves were perfect for our stay. Comfortable beds, well supplied kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of cozy blankets and warmth for our Autumn stay. Hosts were fantastic. Great communication. Highly recommend! surrounding us.

Balsam Lake get away - 4 day weekend

My husband and I and my two pups booked a 4 day weekend for one last summer hurrah 9/29 through 10/2. Property was as described, location was perfect, sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. It was very peaceful as no other cabins were occupied except our host Debbie! Thank you for a wonderful get away Debbie - your property was well-maintained and lovely for our needs.

What a great trip!

My husband and I stayed with our 3 kids (21, 14, and 10)...the cabin was so cute and had everything we needed. We rented the pontoon boat and had such a great day on the lake, swimming and fishing. The fun room was great also, honestly everything was perfect! Debbie is a fantastic person quick to reply to messages and very accommodating. We will for sure come back again.

Weekend getaway

The cabin and property exceeded expectations. Great location right on balsam lake. We had 4 young kids and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and enjoy a cabin experience. Debbie was great and handled everything we needed.

Perfect for two with a view

Cute and cozy cabin close to the lake with a front living room full of windows. We went in early October and it was cooler than normal so the cabin was a little chilly. The host already had a space heater running before we arrived. She checked on us a couple times to make sure we we’re staying warm. Our host was very friendly and takes great care of her properties.

Awesome stay

The rental was beautiful. Love the charm and space. Great deck and yard to hang out on. It was wonderful. We’d certainly rent again. I’d recommend this rental in a heartbeat.
