Welcome to the Blue Water Hideaway, our beautifully renovated home on the water. Everything is new, fresh and clean. Views of the St. Clair River and Canada are unrivaled. Freighters, pleasure craft, and wildlife abound. After you descend 33 steps from the road level, you can settle in to this quiet gem with the bluest water in the world!

Perfect place for a couple's getaway. While located on a main road, it's very quiet. The home is very clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of stores and restaurants a short drive away. It was fun tracking the boats on the provided website to see who was going by. Definitely plan to return.

This was such a great relaxing place to watch the view.. we would definitely recommend and may even make this an annual trip.. very well stocked. Might want to add a deck or two of cards..

This house has everything you need - from the kitchen to the bathroom. Clean linens on the bed, extra blankets. We went into Port Huron and all the way to Marine City - location is excellent for an east side drive. Local pubs around if you wanted to stay close. Would highly recommemd.

Class act all the way

We chose this home for the freighter traffic and it was all we hoped for. I have stayed at many VRBOs and the detail that Tammi gives to taste, quality and comfort shines above the rest. Very relaxing getaway!

Great Waterfront Getaway

When we get away, my favorite properties are waterfront; that was the filter that helped us find this great spot. We enjoyed being right on the water and discovered how much we loved watching for freighters and fishing boats! It was clean and comfortable, and we definitely recommend!

Long weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The views are amazing and make for a very relaxing time! The bed was comfortable, home was very clean, kitchen well equipped, check-in/out easy. The cons would be low water pressure in shower, no ottomans for the livingroom chairs and no railing of any kind to prevent a child or person with balance issues from falling off the deck into the riverr.

Really nice place.

We were there for my father's funeral. Having a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay made a difficult time much easier.Beautiful views, even in the winter.
