The famous Eau Claire Lake Chain (over 11 lakes!) provides 3,200 acres of the finest fishing waters. Positioned on Middle Eau Claire Lake, this waterfront cabin boasts 1.38 acres and 359 feet of shoreline making for a private retreat on crystal clear waters. Outdoor space features a dock, kayaks, standup paddle boards, a fire pit and breathtaking sunset views. Spacious yet cozy interior of 4 bedrooms over two levels. Bring your own boat and use the convenient public launch. Boats can also be rented and delivered to the dock for daily or weekly rentals. Hike the woods, swim or fish off the dock, check out the extensive bike trails. World class cross country skiing and other winter sports. Ideal for families and friends looking to get Up North and Escape.

Cabin Layout: Upper Level- Three bedrooms, 1 bathroom (whirlpool tub, steam shower). Spacious living room with wood burning fireplace. Lower Level- One bedroom, 1 bathroom (shower). Fully equipped and well stocked kitchen with all brand new SS appliances (2022), large dinning room (seats 8), Wood burning fireplace and wood stove, additional sleep/ living space with two stackable twins or sofa.
Gorgeous Lake views, in floor radiant heating, Sonos sound system throughout home.

Getting Around:
Three hours from the Twin Cities, one from Duluth, four from Madison, and under seven from Chicago.
25- minute drive to Hayward, WI for major grocery stores (Barnes has a cabin store for quick needs). Local shops and restaurants.
1 hour drive to Bayfield and Apostle Islands for even more hiking and adventures.

A Wonderful Week

I and my family were impressed with this beautiful home as soon as we opened the front door! I, my wife, and my daughter's family (husband and two children, 11 and 8) came up here for a week of fishing and fun. This is our fourth year staying on the lake and our first year at this home. We will be back! Prior to coming I had lots of questions for Christina which were answered promptly and guided how much we packed for the trip. From the well-stocked kitchen to the very comfortable mattresses, the laundry room, towels and supplies, to the incredible yard and spectacular views of the lake this home has it all. The fishing was fantastic, and the dock easily handled our boat(s). We enjoy this lake. Plenty to do for the kids with the kayaks and paddle boards. Everything is here to have a great vacation and relaxing time. The few things we needed to figure out, (thermostats, fans and lights switches) were covered in the instructions left in the home. The home is at the end of a long driveway and turning around with a trailer is a bit tricky. If bringing one, I would recommend you launch your boat first at the landing (one of the nicest in WI) and motor the boat to dock and unload packed items from there rather than bring the boat in the driveway first and then having to maneuver and back up to go to the landing. All in all, this home certainly, earned the 5-star rating from us! Gordon H and Family.

Quiet location in the woods.

We were apprehensive as we drove down the long driveway to find this wooded property at the very end. Only a few houses along the driveway had occupants while we were there. Other than some occasional barking dogs, it was quiet and we would see deer. We were surprised at the layout with the kitchen space downstairs and most of the bedrooms upstairs. If you have littles that you want to keep off the stairs, there are safety gates available. The kitchen is well stocked with a kettle, full size coffee pot, toaster, big crockpot, popcorn popper, pans and cookie sheets, pretty much anything you might need during your stay. The best part was the full size Blackstone outside, which we weren't expecting. The beds were comfortable with enough space for everyone. Everything was in good working order and clean. Outside, the Blackstone was a hit and provided the opportunity for creative breakfasts and dinners. The lot is treated for mosquitos and it is a noticeable improvement over no bug treatment. We used the dock for fishing and caught lots of little fish, along with a few 12"- 15" bass and a northern. We rented a pontoon and were able to easily pull up to the dock for loading/unloading. Note: the hot tub is not for use by renters.

Two weeks in Heaven

Loved the cabin with all the special touches. Great views of the outdoors. We went to Hayward. We rented a pontoon boat to explore Middle Eau. Claire lake , loved the wildlife sightings.

A beautiful & well stocked cabin on a really cool property.

Lovely cabin with beautiful views of the sunsets over the lake. Private feeling since it sits on a point. We stay in winter so the ice fishing a skiing are would class. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. The house has something for the whole family. We love it here.
