Manitowish Waters has been our home away from home for 4 generations and we'd like to share it with you. Modern amenities with private pier space for 2-3 boats.

2+ acres of woods, nestled under birches & pines, the home features 500+ ft of shoreline on a private bay between Manitowish and Alder Lakes (part of a fishing-friendly 10-lake chain). Bay features pristine national forest.

The space
Come enjoy our modified A-frame that features all the modern amenities you like with the rustic charm you expect from the Northwoods. Watch the sunrise over the water from the wrap-around deck or two private piers. Be sure to gaze up at night at the zillions of stars blanketing the sky. You may even get to experience the northern lights if you’re lucky! Also, we are pet-friendly as long as your pup is well-behaved :)

Our home is located on 2+ acres of wooded land and is nestled under towering birches and pines directly on the Manitowish waters 10-lake chain with over 540’ of running shoreline on a private bay between Manitowish Lake and Alder Lake. Directly across the bay is pristine national forest land.

*please note: pets are welcome but it is an additional $100 charge as it requires extra cleaning and is still a reasonable price compared to boarding. In addition, we ask that you please dry off and clean the paws of your pup before entering the home or we may have to stop allowing our furry friends at the home!*

On the first floor is a well-equipped kitchen with cooktop island, dishwasher, and dining area. This opens to the family room with knotty pine walls, gas cast iron fireplace, cathedral ceiling, sliding door and an additional bay of windows to view the relaxing water view or the woods.
There is also a “game room” on the first floor with comfy chairs and a game table. This is a perfect room to catch up on work while sitting at the desk, or curl up in a chair and read a book as the natural light from the three walls of large windows floods the room.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom with king bed faces the lake and has a sliding door leading to the deck. There is a walk-in closet and full bath with shower and a soaking bathtub. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, large closet and is close to the second full bathroom.

Laundry room with washer, dryer and utility sink is on the main floor. The second floor is a large, carpeted loft with 4+ twin beds and 2 ceiling fans. There is also a lake view from the loft.

Outdoors is a large deck with furniture as well as a side patio with a nice table for meals. There's also a handicap accessible ramp to enter the home. The private pier can easily secure 2 boats and likely 3 as long as it isn't 3 massive pontoons. There are nearby marinas if you're looking to rent a boat. We have a rowboat and kayak available for you as well.
