An outdoor wonderland awaits at this single-story home at the edge of the woods in Manitowish Waters, enviably situated directly alongside the area snowmobile trails. This home enjoys a prime location for adventure in every season, with Alder Lake, Manitowish Lake, Spider Lake, and Island Lake all close by. Spend your days kayaking, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, or cross-country skiing, and cap your evenings by walking across the driveway to a locals' favorite bar. On sparkling summer days, come home from your outdoor excursions to enjoy the home's spacious outdoor areas. Sip cold drinks on the deck, get the gas grill going for a barbecue, and roast marshmallows and stargaze in the warmth of the firepit. The interior is remarkably open and spacious, with every comfort - central air, high-speed WiFi, and a washer/dryer - on hand for your use. Prepare homemade meals in an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, gather around the dining room table for dinner each evening, and retreat to the living room afterwards to stream movies, play card games, and curl up by the gas fireplace. Of the bedrooms, one is a primary suite with its own smart TV. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by The Good Neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. We had a great stay at the Dog House, it’s located in a beautiful location in Wisconsin, house has plenty of room and was very clean, The Howling Dog next door was a bonus!

Very nice place. Pictures show it very well and acccurately. Nice bar next door that you can walk to with good food and drinks! Owners were over the top nice and genuine!

My sister and her fiancé were hosting her bachelorette/bachelor party at our family cabin for the weekend.We needed a place to stay with our dogs since the cabin was occupied with her friends and thus worked out perfectly. It was super convenient that we were right next to Howling Dog, just across the parking lot so we could literally walk over there whenever we wanted to drink or food. The check-in process was super convenient and easy. I liked the electric coded door locks so we could secure the place when we were not there. The outside of the building did have a little bit of deferred maintenance. Some of the siding needed to be retained, but other that that it worked for what we needed.

My husband and I had a lovely stay. House was very clean.It is located right on the Highway so a bit of road noise, but it made it easy to travel to all the different town. Small Brewery just north of house (Some Nerve Brewery) a must stop.

2 night stay

We stayed at the dog house for two nights while picking up our daughter from camp. The house was very well located for all our activities (mountain biking, hiking and getting to camp). The house was clean, well decorated and comfortable. Easy access to side roads to walk our dog. Extra bonus that we could bring him along!

Great Location for snowmobiling and XCountry skiing

The property is located close to Cros sCountry ski trails and quick access to the snowmobile trail. It is also next to The Howling Dog Saloon. Wonderful owner and the pizza is excellent!! The home is very nice and very clean. It looks like it's brand new!! I highly recommend it!

The Dog loved it

Our family had a great stay in this house. Everything was clean and as discribed. Only one bed was uncomfortable, the lower bunk in the first bedroom. Good showers, kitchen was well srocked. We would recommend.

Cutest Rental Ever!

This was such a cute place to stay! You wouldn’t expect how big and open it is from the outside! A beautiful open kitchen that leads into the dining room then, a super cozy living room with a fire place! Plenty of room for family and friends to stay with three bedrooms and two comfy couches. The decorations in this rental were well put together and the owners seemed to really take their time in making sure the place felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend staying at this rental!

Great stay over July 4th

We rented this cabin due to it's location to my parents' cabin on the chain of lakes. It was very clean - practically brand new. It was very comfortable and inviting. We had no hot water the first night and reported it. It was fixed the next day. The location next to the Howling Dog Saloon was fun!
