Disconnect and relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway that sleeps 10. One bedroom has a full and bunk beds. The other has a queen and a full bed with a day bed in the living area that makes two twins or one king bed. Amenities include a fully functional kitchen, central air, washer and dryer, two full bathrooms, one with a garden tub, spacious back deck where you entire group can eat , 2 outdoor fire pits, catch and release pond and it is close to ATV and outlaw trails. There is a large parking area with space to wash your ATV's. You can pick blueberries 15 minutes away when in season. Winter place is about 20 minutes away that offers snow tubing, skiing, and snow boarding. Weather Ground Brewery is about 25 minutes from our Getaway. They offer different types and of local beer, pizza, and wings. There are 2 state parks Little Beaver State Park offers boat rentals, fishing and hiking. Pipestem State Park has swimming, fishing, boat rentals, frisbee golf, horseback riding, and now a new splash pad both around 35 minutes away. Grandview National Park has beautiful trails and amazing overlooks and the Outdoor Drama. You can watch the performance under the stars, which is amazing. You can visit Escape Rooms at Glade Springs, Crossroads Mall in Prosperity and Fayetteville has several. Don't forget to visit the beautiful New River Gorge with hiking trails , cliff climbing, whitewater rafting, and family floating trips down the river. Ace Adventure Wonderland has swimming with many blow ups and much more. We now have wifi at this property on our beautiful 10 acres that has been in our family over 75 years. We have Cornhole boards and board games available for our guests enjoyment. Please don't forget your fishing poles when packing. Our pond is stocked with several different types and sizes of fish. It's beautiful here in West Virginia and our property is private but convenient. You will see wildlife, hear birds singing. We would love to have you and your group as our guests at our rustic country getaway. Our goal is for you to come as guests but leave as friends.

The host was extremely kind and responsive to all of our messages and even left us some snacks and waters upon our arrival. The stay itself was perfect for our crew. We each had our own bed and waking up to the beautiful landscape around was awesome. We will definitely be back!

Family Reunion

The property was very pretty. It is remote and quiet. A very relaxing atmosphere. Very clean and just about anything you could need was provided. We truly enjoyed our stay!!

West Virginia getaway

My family and I had a great experience at this property being able to enjoy the days fishing and ATV riding as well as enjoying our nights around the campfire. This is a secluded location that has everything you need to enjoy a restful quiet vacation. The hostess was very attentive with any needs or questions that we had and was a pleasure to interact with at all times. We are looking forward to returning to this location again.

Peaceful Nature Retreat with Thoughtful Touches and Great Fishing

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The property is tucked into a beautiful nature setting with a private, stocked pond that made for some relaxing (and successful!) fishing—my wife and I even caught a couple bass. The home itself was spotless and well-maintained, and the back porch quickly became our favorite hangout spot. Whether we were watching birds and squirrels or roasting marshmallows over the tabletop fire pit, the space made it easy to unwind and enjoy time together.Our host went above and beyond—communication was clear and timely, and the welcome gift of s’mores ingredients was such a thoughtful surprise. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making this place special. From the small comforts to the natural surroundings, everything about our stay felt peaceful and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge in nature!

My husband and I are both retired. We enjoy spending time with family and grandkids. We enjoy the outdoors and riding our side by side and ATVs and fishing . We enjoy watching the animals playing and occasionally see deer drinking from pond. We really enjoy our getaway and thought why not share it with others.

This property is located in the country and the perfect place to relax and rewind. There are many trails for the ATV lovers and hiking. There is a spacious coved back porch that has a gas grill and tables and chairs and a beautiful view of pond and fields. You will hear and see wildlife and can set by the fire pit and relax while listening to the crackling of burning logs.

Many trails for ATV and UTV riding, 40 minutes from Wagon Wheel and outlaw trails and less than an hour from Hatfield and McCoy Trails. Fishing in catch and release pond. Perfect place to disconnect and rest. Local restaurants and 2 state parks are located within 40 minutes near this property. Winterplace Ski resort within 30 minutes also Weathered Ground Brewery is within 35 minutes. Beckley has the Exhibition Coal Mines and white water rafting is offered in Fayette County.
