It was a very nice place to stay. Everything went smoothly except for the new house code information system. We were locked out on our 2nd night at night time. It was an hour before we heard from the manager. Apparently the new system is not working.

House was perfect for our ATV trip with 3 families- kids stayed in bunk room, adult couples had their own rooms. House and property very clean and well-maintained, owners super responsive and attentive. Convenient to trails and popular spots. Would definitely stay here again!

Hatfield McCoy Trail Stay

This was our 2nd visit to this property. Great accommodations for a group. Clean, well maintained. Close trail access. Nearby food, gas, groceries. 2 garages for sxs/atv storage. Plenty of parking. Large yard where our kids played. We would stay here again when visiting the southern HMT.

Great house!

Had a great time at a beautiful house. Our only (small) issue is they put nrw gravel in, i think right before we got there. I had to put my truck in 4X4 to get in and out. Otherwise Otherwise house. We'll laid out and plenty of space. Very clean!!

HMT getaway with friends.

Plenty of room for gathering in a convenient location. Very useful to have garages for the side by sides and super clean and updated inside the home. Plenty of hot water! We enjoyed the Bluestone River by a fire outside each evening. Would highly recommend a stay.

Great place.

Great place to stay. Convenient to town and trails. Enough parking for at least 4 trucks and trailers. Very clean.. And Danny was a great host. Will definitely be staying there again.

Feels like home!

Excellent stay for the HMT experience. Quick ride to the trails, plenty of space to park and store vehicles. Felt like home. Definitely recommend staying here.

Christmas SXS Break

Home is one of the best houses we’ve stayed in around HMT. Owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The location has several easy HMT access points. Will be renting again!

Clean, comfortable, and great access to trails

We spent four nights here while riding in early November 2024. The place is recently renovated, spacious, clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication was excellent from booking to checkout. We will definitely consider staying here again next time we ride in this area.

Very clean property with 2 garages and convenient to Hatfield McCoy trails. Check in was a breeze and the house was perfect for the needs of my extended family for the trip.

Pappy’s Trail House

We really enjoyed our stay at Pappy’s Trail House. Communication with host was great and the house was exactly as the listing shows. Close to the Pocahontas trail system. If we ride the southern trails again we’ll certainly stay at Pappy’s!

Perfect!

This place has it all. We had plenty of room for storage of our riding equipment and machines. Beds slept very well. Extremely clean home and a great location. We will be coming back again.

Home away from home

The house was very welcoming with plenty of parking, garage to work on your machine if needed or hang out in out of the weather. I would definitely recommend it to other people.

We had 6 adults to stay for the weekend to ride the trails. Quite place to stay for our long weeken. We will definitely be back.

Pappy’s trail house

We enjoyed our stay at Pappy’s trail house. House has a great location with nearby access to Pochahontas trail. Easy access to both trail 16 and 17. There is also an easy connection to Indian Ridge trail which we really liked. Easy drive on sxs/atv to gas station, stores and restaurants. House has huge parking area, garages for sxs/atv. Nice yard with fire pit and chairs. Nice recently updated house. Has lots of beds, 3 queen rooms and bunk room with 6 total beds. House is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend! We plan to come back and stay in this house again soon.

Absolute best place to stay in Southern end of trails!

You will not beat these accommodations for a large group! Everyone was impressed by the large home with leather living room furniture, big screen tv, and full size kitchen with dishwasher. The 2 garages are a dream to park the bikes and 4 wheelers and keep them secure. A nice outdoor chair is provided for everyone to enjoy the 2 acre yard and fire pit. It’s fresh and clean and you will not be disappointed.
