We just finished a comprehensive renovation of this centrally located 2,000 sq ft 3 bedroom 2 bath 2nd floor condo with full kitchen, laundry A/C. The great room has new over-sized windows giving a beautiful view of downtown Alpena. The kitchen is fully supplied and we have a large dining room table for eight. Each bedroom has Ethan Allen furniture, Hypnos mattresses, tasteful decor and fine linens. The unit is walking distance to restaurants, shops, boat harbor and entertainment. It is located on the 2nd floor.

The space was absolutely charming with beautiful original details and plenty of space. Its location was perfect - close to downtown, the beach, great restaurants, and lovely trails. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

Luxury in Alpena

Wanted a quick get-a-way in a town we didn’t yet know. This place was fantastic! Smack in the heart of town, everything walkable…perfect location! Apartment is beautiful , clean, and comfortable! Property manager was responsive and very nice! Will come back and would be a great place to come with other families- so spacious!

Great location for downtown

Was in town for work and a client event that my team hosted at JJs restaurant. Great location so you can walk to everything. Very clean and super cool place. Very large family room. We only had two couples which works well with the 2 bathrooms. Kitchen is older but has a lot of character. Has a Nespresso coffee machine and pods provided. Also hard to beat the coffee shop in town though. I would highly recommend this rental and will stay again in the future.

Wonderful gem in Alpena, MI

We had a great stay in this beautiful apartment. When driving up to it, we wondered if we were in the right place because the building looks like a commercial building. But don't be alarmed - the apartment (on the 2nd floor) is exactly as pictured, and maybe even nicer in real life. There is free reserved parking as well. The apartment was well equipped, and everything worked perfectly. The owner was easy to contact and very responsive. Highly recommend this as a great place to stay in this cute northern Michigan Lake Huron town.

Downtown Alpena

Our family has stayed frequently at VRBO and other vacation rental properties throughout the U.S. and Europe. Hands down, this has been one of the best properties we have ever stayed at. It was also a great value for the money. Communication with the host was effortless and we were able to easily extend our stay to an earlier arrival date. The apartment was spacious, decorated beautifully with high-end furniture and accents, very comfortable for our family of five adults, and impeccably clean. The upstairs apartment, in a quiet building, is located in downtown Alpena a very short walk to restaurants, the Lake Huron waterfront, and small parks. While the kitchen is equipped for cooking and has a dishwasher as well, we chose to eat out and order in. Cabin Creek Coffee for morning coffee, espresso beverages, breakfast sandwiches and pastries, and afternoon snacks and sandwiches just a few minutes walk away. Dedicated parking is immediately adjacent to the building; WiFi was good enough for some occasional remote work which had to be done. We recommend this property highly and will be booking it again when family and friends come to town. Kudos to the hosts - great job!
