This 3BR condo is located in Yacht Cove Villas, directly on Shelter Cove Marina. The complex has a private pool and hot tub. At the base of the unit you will find walkways encircling the perimeter of the Marina with great restaurants, numerous shops and entertainment options. This is an excellent location if you are looking to have a relaxing getaway with good food and attractions close by. Several Family events are held seasonally during the year. There is a free Shuttle service which will take you to stores, restaurants, the beach, etc (also seasonal). If you wish to drive to the beach it is about a 7 minute drive, on average.

Please note - no items may be hung from or attached to the balcony railings at anytime.

Great Location & fabulous Harbor Views

Great location within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, water rentals, boat tours and coffee/bakery! Lovely decor! AMAZING master bath! Wonderful balcony with views of the boats and overlooks the pool. Access to Palmetto Dunes which has a beautiful beach and yummy beachfront restaurant! Our group of a 17 y/o and 5 adults had a great time.

Great week at Shelter Cove

The condo was immaculate and the furniture is comfortable as well as stylish. There are a number of very interesting decorative items, although it should be noted several are quite fragile with "Do Not Touch" signs next to them. The view across the pool deck to the marina is lovely and it was fun to be able to walk to the shops, bars, and restaurants in Shelter Cove. Overall, a great place to stay.

Love the location

Loved the location on the marina. Very convenient to activities. Property manager was not very responsive. Our electronic lock failed and we had to leave the unit unlocked one day while we waited for someone to change the lock. All of the "dont touch" signs were offputting. We would stay in this area again, but maybe not this specific unit.

We loved our stay

We loved our stay here! The condo unit was lovely and comfortable. It’s on the third floor and very close to the pool. We loved the location in Shelter Cove on the marina. It was nice walking and riding bikes around the marina and even over to Palmetto Dunes was a beautiful 20 minute bike ride to the beach. We also loved having the Palmetto Dunes car pass which allowed us to drive over and go to their less crowded beaches. I loved sitting on the balcony at night over looking the marina, we saw many kayakers going in and out along with boats. The unit has neat nautical decor and others have mentioned may not be best for really little kids if they are touchy on things. Some items said do not touch, which was fine, we enjoyed looking at them and our 9 and 11 year olds understood not to touch the items. We would love to stay in this unit again.

Disappointed with the rental

As a professional adult traveling with my mother and sister for a girls weekend get away, I was extremely disappointed that the owners of this rental requested 100.00 saying we damaged a mattress and sheets, I have video proof that we did not, I’m so disappointed in this owners to attempt to try something like this. This unit was left in amazing condition. I would pass on this property. The property is nice clean and well decorated Had to ask for an iron and they had no ironing board. But it really was a lovely rental. It is not child friendly condo, if you rent do as I did and take a video of everything!

Unfortunately this guest is incorrect in her allegation that she did not damage the sheets and mattress. We have before and after photos that clearly show the sheet adhered to the mattress.

Not for children

Too nicely decorated-too many objects with do not touch signs! Would be a nightmare to control children and their curiosity. Kitchen was not fully functional. No ice maker, no lighting for work areas, limited tableware,etc. Master bath has too much wasted space and for elderly is bordering on unsafe. No luggage racks for transport to unit. Maybe with time will become more renter friendly! Seating was uncomfortable including chairs on balcony. Shelter Cove is a great area but this unit needs an experienced handler.

I'm sorry Carolyn was disappointed in my unit. To begin with, the photos clearly illustrate many of the "issues" about which she complains. Those who have brought children to stay have not complained about the exquisite nautical decor, the "Please Do Not Touch" signs, nor the gorgeous Master Bath. There is an ice maker, tableware and lighting for work areas - maybe she missed those. The balcony chairs are normal for the area. There is a "luggage rack for transport to unit" - maybe it was in use. Finally, I take umbrage with the comment "needs an experienced handler" I own 4 units in Hilton Head and they all have dozens of 5 star ratings. You just can't please everyone!

We enjoyed the condo! There were several beach towels, boogie boards, noodles and beach toys available which I was not expecting and took my own. The pool was clean. And it was nice to walk to a few shops and restaurants if you don’t want to drive somewhere. It did appear that the cleaning company comes in and does a quick wipe down and not a thorough cleaning. Heavy limescale on the master shower, as the water pressure seemed to be very low, but it was very good in the second bathroom. Two of the sinks drained slow, one did have a foul smell. One person did wish for cotton sheets/bedding instead of microfiber but that is a personal preference. The AC was very weak in the two smaller bedrooms but there were small fans to use. It did get very hot at night. The master had excellent air flow and it was significantly cooler in there at night. Don’t forget to buy a bag of ice if you don’t want to make ice with the trays. The bottom of the outside door handle was broken but the lock worked to keep it shut. Other than these small concerns, it was very comfy for four people. There is an TV in every bedroom which was awesome. Every place has good and bad, even hotels. All in all, this condo is in a great location. The property is very well maintained and it was quiet day and night. I would stay here again (and not lug extra stuff with me next time)!!

Great Location!

This was our first time on Hilton Head Island. Jim and Nicole were great. I had a number of questions and they always answered promptly. The instructions to access the condo were clear and once we understood what it meant to have access to Palmetto Dunes, we took advantage of the private beach access to the Disney Beach House's parking lot and beach. I definitely recommend looking up the resort amenities for golf, tennis, and pickleball if you play! The courses and courts looked awesome, we just didn't have time. The condo itself was clean -- the rooms were great for 5 of us - my husband, my 60 yo mother, and 2 kids (6 and 3). The pool was clean, easy to access. We were able to walk the marina each evening and ordered take out from a number of restaurants for dinner each night. We did cook breakfast in the mornings and made some lunches -- the condo comes with basic kitchen tools, but nothing fancy. We also used the washer and dryer -- didn't have issues but they are smaller units (normal for a condo this size). It is noted in the listing and the pictures that the condo contains many unique nautical artifacts. My kids don't tend to get into decor or knickknacks at home, and they had no issues not touching any of the items. I'm not sure other kids their age would've complied, as there are items in most rooms that look like toys but definitely shouldn't be played with. I definitely recommend the condo -- location and accomodations cannot be beat!
