Spent the weekend for going to the Nascar race in Martinsville. Very convenient for getting down into southern Virginia.

Had a quick trip to Greensboro for concert this past weekend. Enjoyed the back porch in the evenings!! Had everything we needed!! Thanks for hosting us!!

Decent property

The house was a decent property. The floors have soft spots when walking and the flooring was in rough shape in a few places. The exterior of the property could use some attention. Lots of branches in the yard and lots of broken glass (windows maybe) all around the back deck. Not a real safe place for younger kids.

We stayed here while in town for a track meet. We wanted access to a kitchen and we wanted to have the ability to do some laundry. It took a few tries but we finally did get the washer to work. Apparently in only works on one setting. The bathtub faucet was dripping and apparently had been dripping for quite some time as the bathtub was damaged by it. I did let the owner know but they claimed they were not aware of it. Based on the damage I suspect that it had been going on for about a year or so. We ended up only using the other, very tiny, shower for the whole family.

Don't stay here. Filthy and concerns about house structure

The pics make this place look great and on the surface when you enter (through the door that wasn't locked when we arrived) it seems fine . However, the sheets were filthy when we went to get in bed so I had to do laundry at 10PM. Also we noticed that there was trash in the nightstand, standing moldy water in the dishwasher, dirty fridge, dirty floors and toilets. When I reported to the manager he did send the cleaners who were over a half hour late from the meeting time and they still didn't do a good job (even though we left a list per his instructions). The floors of the house don't feel stable. They are slanted and have soft spots. And there are gaps between boards. And along the wall at the back of the house you can see where water has run down most of the wall. The window trim on that wall is water rotted. And finally there is a bad smell coming from the fireplace that they have tried to cover with multiple air freshners of different types. If it wasn't for thanksgiving and super close to my family we would have left. Just don't stay here.
