This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom sleeps 4 across a King bed and a sleeper sofa. Centrally located in River Run Village, you're just steps away from restaurants, shopping, and the slopes! Guests can walk to the lift and the surrounding shops, local restaurants, coffee and mountain views. Red Hawk Lodge offers shared amenities including an outdoor pool and two hot tubs.

As you enter the unit there is a bench and storage hooks for guests convenience. The updated kitchen features BRAND NEW stainless steel appliances, including an induction range, and granite countertops. It also comes stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. Enjoy a meal with the whole family at the dining table seating six with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. Modern light fixtures have been installed in the living and dining areas.

Unwind after a busy day in the living area, featuring a gas fireplace, mounted TV and access to the private balcony. Have a movie night with a DVD/Blue-ray player in the living room for guest use.

The spacious master bedroom features a king sized bed, mounted TV, and a sitting chair by the window. The bathroom has a pedestal sink and a bathtub/shower combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

(For additional sleeping options, air mattresses are available upon request for a small fee.)

For two people and a single bedroom, we really had everything we needed in the unit. I wish there was just one more chest of drawers for our clothes since we were there for two weeks, but I'm not sure the bedroom was big enough. That being said the living area had room for another dresser. The hot water in the our room went out a few times, and we were told it was a whole building issue that the HOA had to be notified. The unit had a great ice maker. The lodges hot tubs were small and only two. One of the tubs kept losing heat. I liked the steam room and heated pool for the little ones was pleasant to have.

The beds were comfortable with nice sheets, comforters. I liked being on the 1st floor with a small porch to walk outside. It has a gas fireplace which was really nice. Used the hot tub once with views of mountain. My only complaint is having to go to another location to get keys and they cut the water off for the last hour before our checkout which made cleaning the place a bit rushed. Still a great experience.

Ski get away

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick get away to ski. Underground parking was a huge plus, location to the ski lift was incredible, and the space in the condo was just what we needed.

Fun Ski Condo at the Bottom of the Mountain

This place is a great condo at the bottom of the mountain in Keystone. It is about a 5 minute or less walk from the patio door to the bottom of the Gondola. Plenty of room for 4 people and most everything you could need to cook some meals after a long day on the mountain. A fireplace to keep you warm and access to a hot tub and heated pool were nice bonuses.

Great Place for Two

Management does an excellent job and is very responsive. The only issue (which is minor) is the induction cooktop which requires special cookware (which is provided). We tried everything, but could not keep eggs and other certain foods from sticking to the pan, making clean-up very difficult.

The humidifier in the closet is a nice touch during the winter. The only issue we noticed is the TV is quite high for the size of the room. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I know all units are like this but the only complaint I have is how hot it got inside. Two fans helped but might need more. Any questions I might have had, I got answers promptly and respectfully (via text and phone). The only trouble we had was where to go for the garage and if we were in the North or South building.

Location was awesome. Construction around and surround the condo. Locating parking - etc. was a zoo. THE COUCH WAS BROKEN? Yes, the couch was broken. Had a sign on it?!? We did much sight seeing and what not - but if we would have had planned on that sleeping situation we would have been very upset. HOT. The sleeping space has limited air circulation. The area with broken couch was very breezy. We purchased a fan for ourselves. Many other units had fans in windows. Apparently summit has been warmer than usual.

What a horrible Misrepresentation.

Writing something positive about this condo or the property management company (Summit County Mountain Retreats) that oversees it would be impossible. This was the first, AND LAST, time I will EVER use VRBO because of their failure to follow through on their guarantee. This condo had bogus reviews and was listed with amenities such as 24/7 housekeeping on-site and “towel exchange” and “light housekeeping” for stays of more than 5 days. The photos on VRBO were NOT the CONDO pictured, it was filthy! For 4 days we asked SCMR to deal with the mess and bugs and got excuses. On day 4, after sending photos of food and liquid on walls and ceilings from previous guests, SCMR FINALLY sent housekeeping to clean, but that’s it. Then SCMR retaliated saying that I hadn’t filled out a form for “permission” from the condo’s OWNER and HOA to have my REGISTERED SERVICE ANIMAL in the condo. We were threatened with being “forced to vacate the premises by noon” if the form wasn’t signed. Because of SCMR’s insulting and discriminatory behavior we lost a MAJORITY OF OUR VACATION to anxiety.SCMR said not to contact them again regarding any other issue that we may have. I have Celiacs disease, so I always rent somewhere with a full kitchen. This condo has an INDUCTION stove top, there were only 2(TWO) pots that could be used on it (because it only senses steel the other pots and pans provided had copper bottoms). The 1974 stoneware was NOT microwave safe! No towels, no hospitality and VRBO FAILED.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
