Take it easy at this unique and cozy getaway in Black Forest. Just across the driveway is the beloved R&R cafe. The cafe is open Wednesday thru Sunday for the best breakfast and lunch in town. Call for room service. Located just minutes from Colorado Springs, the Air Force Academy, and restaurants and theaters on Interquest Pkwy. Hike the beautifully forested Section 16 trail down the street.

If you'd like a little more space, this attached studio can be rented simultaneously with the front cabin, which is attached to the studio via communicating doors. Inquire with us for further information.

Art class getaway

Quaint, comfortable, convenient and peaceful. It was well furnished meeting all our needs. The owner was easy to communicate with and we had such a great stay! We loved the cafe next door as well!

Christmas Stay

We had a last minute change of plans and were afraid we wouldn’t be able to come and visit our grandson. I found this vrbo and they were able to accommodate the 2 of us and our dog. Great place, everything you could need. Great restaurant right in front. All in all, they saved our Christmas.

Met our needs perfectly

We were looking for a place to stay that was close to relatives that we planned to visit. This was a great location and was exactly as it was described. It was just the two of us so the size was perfect. We really appreciated having a washer and dryer. We would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Black Forest!

Terrific, quiet stay

Honestly, the place is even cuter than the photos make it appear. Clean, quiet, really nicely done and dog friendly. The fenced back patio is quite nice and I appreciated the black forest wood writing desk. When they say the cafĂ© is steps away, they literally mean steps, and the food is terrific. There’s also a post office with General store items across the street as well as a small winery with tastings. Easy access to Northeast Colorado Springs and everything it offers. The views are incredible. Do note that it feels fairly secluded at night. Personally, I enjoyed that, but if it’s a thing that makes you nervous, do be aware.

Charming Cabin is just right!

This Mama Bear sent off for a weekend of solitary R&R and found this cabin to be just right! The bed offered firm comfort and soft bedding. The kitchen is stocked with minimumal but thoughtful selected basics. The cabin was very clean and comfortable in all respects.The hosts were great. Josh even changed out of his PJ to come help with a minor Roku issue (that's dedication). I enjoyed soaking in the sunshine on the private back patio. If you venture out I suggest the Mountain Veiw Cafe for yummy breakfast and Honey Tea and Me tea shop for the best cup of Earl Gray I have ever had. Heading home to the cubs feeling recharged.

Very nice place. Dirt on right side of fridge. No antibacterial for dishes - not good! No large bath towel (thankfully I brought mine). "I think" that is a filter in the bathroom fan - not sure. Need reading lamp for the bed area. There was a rubber (yes) by my car when I got up one morning - that back fence could let anyone thru.
