Great interior (not great exterior)

Pros: The room was well designed and the bathroom and shower were beautifully updated. Quiet and secluded. Convenient to downtown. Cons: The backyard (where we accessed the room) was over grown with weeds and full of ants.

Missing pictures of location

The room is located in the back of a main house & the main house is not shown in the posting, where you must go throw a metal gate, it is isolated (no street lights- very dark), and the view from ALL the windows are obstructed with contact paper. The posting doesn’t show the true picture of location, which is important when you are traveling on a girls trip.

The inside property is nice, very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor "quite ". When we drove up, i noticed a pile of dead tree branches and the yard was not mowed or trimmed. The first impression was not favorable. Looking past our first impressions, we had a good time. Curb appeal would be more inviting.

Peaceful property! It is connected to the main house but you’d have no idea. Inside was stocked and comfortable. The hottub could have been cleaner. The water was cloudy and had lots of hair in it, this was disappointing because this was the main reason we booked this property. However we would book again and hope this issue isn’t the “norm”.

Not what we thought

My husband and I were excited to stay in Fredericksburg for the first time. This property caught my eye because of the hot tub and close vicinity to shopping and dining. It is not a separate home. It is a room attached to the main home. You have to go through the back yard to get to the room. We could hear the owners behind the wall but we decided to give it a chance. The hot tub didn’t work and we contacted the owner who was going to send someone to fix it. By then, the mood was changed. Neither of us wanted to stay and wait for someone to come fix the hot tub when we were supposed to be having a romantic night. We decided to leave. The host said the hot tub was fixed and if we wanted to come back, we could or he’d refund our money. I asked for a refund. It left a bad taste in our mouths. He still has yet to refund our money even though he offered. It’s been over 3 weeks now. I would definitely not recommend this property. It’s not private and just felt uncomfortable the whole time.

PERFECT Getaway

Owners were so helpful and responsive. The suite was perfect for our needs. We were just a quick Uber ride from town and enjoyed the peace and quiet after a bustling downtown experience. We sat around the fire pit each night and the hot tub was clean and inviting. Thank you again for sharing your home with us!

The Encanto Suite was a very nicely done retreat. The caretakers have obviously put a great deal of effort into making it a hospitable get away for anyone. You'll find it surrounded by an average small town set of houses that is only a few minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. The room was very clean, elegant, and had all the amenities of a nice hotel. If you're looking for a reasonably priced location to enjoy Fredericksburg then i recommend the Encanto.

Was nice stay. Everything was just as advertised. It didn’t seem like there was anyone in the main house, however the lights came on several times. We agree that we would’ve felt more safe with a deadbolt lock on the door that we could lock from the inside.

Lovely and Peaceful Location

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night only during our drive back to Houston. The location was quiet and peaceful, while the unit was well appointed. The rental was also very conveniently located close to town. Also, the hot tub was a plus. Would definitely rent this place again.

Quiet and relaxing

I wanted a small relaxing place to stay for a friend trip. Super cute room with plenty of things for us if we happened to forget something on our trip ex blowdryer, shampoo, makeup wipes, etc The hot tub was so relaxing and was our favorite part. Loved the bathroom mirror that light up and was fog resistant! Covered parking came in very handy as it randomly hailed when a storm came through and was large enough to fit my large suv perfectly. Will be staying here again on our next trip to Fredericksburg! Thank you again for letting 2 mom friends who work full time get a small escape to recharge!

We really enjoyed our stay and the town. Encanto house was the PERFECT place for just the 2 of us. Just far enough from downtown to miss all the traffic but perfectly close to be able to enjoy all that downtown fredericksburg has to offer. We will definitely be coming back

Beautiful Suite

The Encanto Suite was absolutely beautiful. It had a mix of modern and rustic elements that just brought the entire place together. Extremely clean and so well put together. It’s perfect for a couple or even a single person wanting some privacy. Great distance from Main Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock. Highly recommend.
