Beautiful 3-4 bedroom home in Millinocket features parking for snowmobile trailers and garage to store your snowmobiles. We are only 16 miles to Baxter State Park. Adventure awaits you in this 4 season beautifully redone home. The groomed snowmobile trail which connects to hundreds of miles of ITS is 150 yards from the property. The home has three bedrooms, two with queen beds, one has a full. There is even a bonus bedroom upstairs for the kids which has two twin beds. The pellet stove is a great feature to relax by during the winter months. Snowmobile, hike, canoe, fish, hunt, whitewater raft, cross country ski minutes away from Baxter and Katahdin Woods National Monument. Home is walking distance to local restaurants and the Millinocket Marathon start finish line!

The house is cute, has a lot of character, and worked out perfectly for our needs. Mike and Amy were great and very responsive to my questions. I didn't know the full bath was on the second floor. Which was okay as well, once you know.I really liked the sun porch.

Exceptional home, exceptional hosts! Super charming house and neighborhood. Walking distance to all the cute shops in town. We even walked to a Bluegrass festival :) Amy and Mike are so thoughtful. We had a wonderful time!

When I travel I like to cook for myself. This is rarely easy, given that kitchen supplies are often an afterthought in short-term rentals; frequently the kitchens are appointed with a smattering of cast-offs that have found a second life in a rental kitchen. I was so pleased to arrive at Mike and Amy's place and find a truly well-appointed kitchen! Sharp knives! A coffee grinder! Now we're talking. The well appointed kitchen was a cherry on top, but I would have stayed here anyway. As advertised it had everything my daughter and I needed for our once-in-a-lifetime moose hunt: comfortable beds, hot showers, a garage to stage equipment, parking for two vehicles. It is the perfect launchpad for anyone's grand adventure. The home is in a cute neighborhood off the downtown, minutes from restaurants and the grocery store. Even better, it's very close to that very thing that makes this part of Maine special: the wilderness! Access to Baxter State Park, the North Maine Woods, the biggest whitewater in Maine, all close by. The hosts replied within moments of me messaging them. Fortunately, I did not need any assistance, but if I did, I feel confident they would have responded quickly and bent over backwards to help me out. We'll definitely stay again. Thanks for being part of our grand adventure!

Hosts were incredibly responsive and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed. Property is very conveniently located to Baxter Park which was our primary reason for coming to Millinocket. While the house is older it was very functional for what we needed.

Perfect place to stay with friends for a trip to Baxter State Park. Clean and spacious perfect location in downtown area of Millinocket, hosts were great with communication.

Exactly what we needed

Great stay! Home was very clean and had everything we needed. Quiet street. We were in the area for a wedding but perfect location so that we also enjoyed Baxter, hiking, boating etc. Very evident owners take pride in their property!

Charming home full of character! We had a lovely weekend stay in this home…was super close to our rafting outfitter so it was easy peasy. The “secret” room was a delightful and fun surprise! Traveled with 3 teenagers and a golden and everyone had plenty of space to spread out! Lovely porches!

Maine Trip to Baxter State Park

The house was in a perfect location for our daily trips up to Baxter State Park. The three bedrooms accommodated our family really well. The girls like the sunroom for reading. Everything we need was there. We will book it again in the future.

Great location

We visited Baxter state park and checked out Knife Edge brewery. Great pizza and beer. House was in a quit neighborhood with plenty of room. We’ll have to visit again to enjoy the snowmobiles.

Family weekend

Welcoming home with a well stocked kitchen. The owners are very responsive to questions and accommodating to requests. This is an ideal place both for those that want to hike as well as those that want some downtime.
