The Appalachian is a true 4 season resort overlooking Mountain Creek Ski Resort/ Waterpark and other activities such as farms, mountain biking, multiple golf courses, horseback riding, and ziplining!

Hike the Appalachian Trails, tour the wineries and enjoy Octoberfest/Spas/Pumpkin and Apple picking.

This is a true 4 season resort with heated(in winter) year-round OUTDOOR pool/hot tubs/Sauna. Ski-in/out right to the main lift from the building PLUS ARCADE ROOM!

The host was responsive, the unit was nice, and the location is excellent. However, the constant banging noises from the people above were too much to take. This is not the host's fault, but the building has no sound attenuation at all. We heard everything the people above did - it sounded like they were dropping bowling balls over and over.

Room as outlined on the listing is spot on. Prior feedback is accurate regarding location, it is facing street-side for the balcony location, which isn't bad, but if you're hoping for straight on mountain you will be disappointed. Unfortunately the sound-proofing for the unit is not great, could almost always hear anyone that passed by in the hallway and cars driving up and down the road throughout the day and in the evening. Host was initially responsive regarding a notation I made of one of the 4 towels provided having makeup residue or paint on it. The entire building's power went out one morning for several hours. No communication from host until I called him directly requesting an update on projected time of power being restored. Power loss not in the hosts control at all, but it is concerning there is no information in the unit regarding who to contact if needed when emergencies arise. Use of the pool pass was great, it was nice to enjoy every day of our stay. Refrigerator unit could use a good cleaning, the metal shelves are older and have some buildup. Kitchen amenities were fine but be aware to bring all your own food supplies and some cooking materials. The garbage and recycling bins are open and not covered, which could be an issue for certain foods or containers. Bathroom is larger, shower and bath both available and was nice to be able to rinse off after the hot tub use. All in all a nice place to stay with a few perks to a no frills staycation location.

Overall, the property is nice, and it had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive when we brought up an issue. Other than the floors being dirty, the condo was fine and suited our needs.

Everything was very, very nice. There were just 2 things we were disappointed with. The picture that was advertised of the balcony was misleading... the balcony actually overlooks the road directly below it. Also, the chair in the living room was VERY uncomfortable. Other than those 2 issues, it was a very lovely stay

We got to our room and it was NOT CLEAN , wet towels , toothbrush on the bed, full garbage , dirty sheets on the bed. We couldn’t get in touch with anyone to clean til the morning and they didn’t come until 11 am. The host was nice but was very disappointed with the experience coming in, the shower in our room was also broken so we only could use the standing one .

We went up there for a little winter recess get away to do some snow tuning. We had a great time. Room was very clean. Check in was easy. The kids had fun playing air hockey. Snow tubing is right across the street

Really great place for an overnight trip to Mountain Creek. Plenty of space for 2 adults, great location and access to the amenities after a long day month slopes was a total bonus. Great communication, easy access and parking.

Great place for family ski vacation. Apt was clean, with amenities for cooking. Great fireplace. The ski areas are very kid friendly. The bunny slope was carved up into different trails for learning different skills. Didn’t need to drive to get things. Everything for a great stay was right on site.
