This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath is a short walk (0.75 miles) from 2 amazing beaches! Everything you need to enjoy your stay- whether it’s a relaxing beach day at Bartle's or Sandy Beach, a bike ride on the Great Drumlin Trail, or sit around the fire pit in our private fenced in backyard. Leave your beach towels and beach bag at home, you can use ours during your stay! Cooking is easy in our well stocked kitchen or snap the QR code and see a listing of all the local take out places. Enjoy the spacious rec room in the basement with a fully stocked laundry area, 65” smart TV, Air Hockey Table, foosball, and plenty of family friendly games. We stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday with our adult kids. Other family that lives in Madison joined us for Thanksgiving day and dinner. We had a wonderful time in this home. Kitchen is very well appointed. Living room/dining area is comfortable, spacious and cozy all at the same time. We played lots of games, cooked together and really enjoyed our time. The basement games were a hit, too, and were well used. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. Everything worked well and the hosts have really nice taste. We will stay here again if we have the opportunity.

This is one of those properties where the photos don't do it justice. Beautiful, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. We were visiting family in Madison, and it was the perfect quiet retreat.

A lovely home on a quiet street

The house was exactly as described in the app and the photos were accurate.The check in process was so easy. The night before our trip, the host sent us a key code to enter the front door. That code was used anytime we entered the house. This was absolutely perfect as we were traveling with our adult children. They could easily come and go without us trying to coordinate a physical key. The spacious kitchen was fully stocked with a variety of cookware and dishes. It felt like home. We were very impressed with the comfortable space and would highly recommend it to other travelers.

Overall a pleasant and quiet experience. The home is welcoming and provided everything we could have wanted. The entire area is beautiful in the summer, but not too busy. The local towns offer lots of food options. We were in the area for work, and this was a better option over staying at hotels.

"Lake House"

To advertise the house as a Lake House made us think we were staying at the lake, which we weren't, nor was there a view of the lake. Of course to be fair, in the description, it says 3/4 mile from the lake. There was NO toilet paper in the bathrm except what was on the holder; the table on the deck was filthy--so we never sat there; the bathtub/shower has no grab bar, no rubber bath mat in the tub, and I slipped, didn't fall; the pump bottle of body moistureizer by bath sink was empty; in the jar in kitchen of Coffeemate, I found half & half but it curdled. If you're going to offer that product, put it in the fridge. The owner was responsive to questions like, is early check-in ok, or recs for a fish fry, but whoever manages the house is not ok.

Just what we needed.

The hosts are very kind and communicative. Our kids had fun playing air hockey and Fußball in the basement. Very family friendly home with a lovely mid-century modern feel.

Lake Mills, WI great spot!

This was a perfect place for us (4 adults and 3 children) to stay for a week. Close to other family, near the lake, and in a lovely neighborhood. The home was totally clean and trim, and decorated in mid-century modern style that took me back to my childhood. It was very fun!

This house is a gem for lazy stays. Great set up, near the beach and amenities are generous.

Lakeside Beach Bums Trip

My wife & I visited our son who is playing in the summer collegiate league. The house is walking distance to the field and a quick drive to everywhere in Lake Mills. Beautifully furnished. The hosts were very attentive and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Super cute house - fun time by the lake!

We had a great time staying in Lake Mills - the house could not have been more perfect for our group - comfy beds, clean as a whistle, very comfortable kitchen with anything we could need! The mid-century modern decor is so charming and well thought out. Scott and Jen were so communicative and thought of everything we needed! Thank you!
