Grant's Escape was built in June, 2009. It is a Beautiful cabin, very secluded, on a scenic dead-end lane. 1œ miles from Old Man's Cave, in the Hocking Hills.
The cabin sleeps 2. It has 1 Private bedroom and is perfect for couples.

Free Wifi Internet.

No TV access, but there is a Smart TV, so if you have a Youtube TV account (or something like that), it should work.

Located in the country, it is also close to State Parks. It is about 9 miles from Logan, OH, which has shopping and restaurants.

The Kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped. Modern appliances, pots, pans, dishes....everything you need to prepare a favorite meal. It has a Coffee maker and microwave, too.

You can enjoy the beautiful view while relaxing in the Hot Tub!
The Living Room is cozy and comfortable, as seen here. The beautiful wood-burning fireplace is sure to keep you warm.

I recently stayed at this vacation home and found my experience fell a bit short of expectations. Upon arrival, I noticed there was no coat hook or rack by the door, which made storing jackets and outerwear inconvenient—a basic amenity I had hoped for. The furnishings were disappointing as well; the dining table was small and felt unsteady, more like dorm furniture than what you’d expect in a vacation rental, and the sofa showed clear signs of age and heavy use, impacting the comfort of the space.I also planned to use the outdoor grill but was unable to do so due to the complete lack of cooking utensils such as tongs or spatulas, which made it impossible to enjoy meals outside as advertised. Cleanliness was another concern. The check-out instructions asked guests not to place the quilt and shams in the laundry, but to put towels and sheets in the hamper. This made me question how often the quilts and shams are actually cleaned between guests, leaving me uneasy about the bedding.Finally, while the hot tub was a nice addition, I found it never got quite hot enough for a truly relaxing soak. Overall, I believe this property would benefit from updates to furnishings, attention to basic amenities, and improved cleanliness standards. On a positive note, the home was in a great location and easy to find. I hope these comments are helpful for future improvements.

Beautiful secluded location. Check in communication was very good. Cabin was very very nice. Only negatives were the hot tub was on its last legs and heavy sulfur smell in the water. Hot tub water was clean but most of the Jets did not work. We brought a case of bottled water so sulfer smell was was not an isdue though we did not shower in it. Would stay again.

The hot tub was very clean and easy to use although half the jets did not work so it was kind of lile sitting in a hot bath. The overall stay was great and just what we needed very secluded and bery peaceful. We definitely plan on coming back every year for our anniversary

Finally, a cabin in hocking hills with clean floors! I've stayed in a few different cabins in the area and this is the first one that I felt like i could actually walk around barefoot in. Everything about it was perfect. The only complaint i have is that the cleaninf staff should double-check the cleanliness of the dishes. Several dishes were caked in what felt like bacon grease from prior guests. Otherwise, perfect location, detailed directions, beautiful views, looked just like the online pictures.

Everything was great but could not use the hot water at all due to the horrible smell . Instantly smells like rotten eggs as soon as it’s turned on . Would recommend as a great stay if they fix that issue .

It was a great stay. Great cabin, secluded and relaxing. The only thing we really had an issue with at the cabin was the smell of the water when we turned on the shower. It smelled like rotten eggs throughout. But other than that, it was amazing. Maybe some fluffier pillows too but really wasn’t a big deal

Couples cabin

Would have liked it a little more private. We could hear the traffic from our balconly. Inside the cabin was nice. The couch could definitely need a update,otherwise the cabin was clean and well stocked with appliances and cookware. Overall a great experience.

Peaceful getaway

Property was nice, but, hot tub did not work at full capacity, not all jets seems to work at full strength and didnt keep water hot for long, see 1 HUGE roach and no screens in wondows to get fresh air at night.

We enjoyed the cabin. Cozy, comfortable and really enjoyed the wood fireplace and hot tub. Hocking Hills State Park was so beautiful. It would have been helpful to have the kitchen drain plugs for the sink. Made doing dishes kind of tricky. Thanks for sharing your place. It was perfect for us.

Little slice of heaven

My wife and i have been coming to this cabin for a couple of years now. We absolutely love it and will continue for years to come. Its a great place to disconnect from the outside just relaxing in the hot tub or chilling in front of a roaring fire.

Nice but some issues

I will start off by saying the check in process and communication from the host was terrible. Multiple phone calls were made to contact the host, messages were left but no phone call back the entire time. Thankfully we came across the cleaning crew who were able to tell us the direction we needed to go to get to the cabin and other details that were needed to enter the cabin. The cabin itself was very cute and serene. Some minor things were the comfort of the bed and pillows, how noisy the ceiling fans are (we had to turn them off in order to sleep) and we were provided with one bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth for a 3 night stay. We had a relaxing time however in the future there are things to be consider while booking a cabin that would make the trip experience much better.

Very nice stay

The cabin was beautiful! Very clean and well put together. Had a lot of amenities that we loved! The only issue we had was that we got lost because the GPS stopped giving directions. It kept saying the destination was in the middle the a road. We had to go to another lodge to ask for directions. We tried calling the number on the cabin page twice but nobody answered. So I just suggest mapping it out before going because you might also not have cell phone service. Everything else was great though. Also bring your own water for drinking!

Perfect Secluded

I rented the cabin for a long weekend to celebrate my husband’s 50th borthday. It was exactly what we wanted, secluded, but still close to anything we needed (hiking, local shopping, restaurants in Logan). Perfect size for a couple! The outside could have been cleaned a little better, front porch had mud, and back porch could have used a light cleaning. But back porch was still the perfect space to hang out!

Grant's Escape is one of our most private cabins, at the end of a gravel road, near the Hocking Hills State Park attractions.
It is about 9-10 miles from Logan, the main town, too, so the location is great, if you need to make a grocery run or check out one of the restaurants in town.
