Continental Motel - 1 bedroom condo close to beach

First floor 1 bedroom condo with 1 king bed. Living room with queen murphy bed/couch combo. Kitchen Includes refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Two color TVs with wireless internet to log onto your favorite streaming apps. This is a dog-friendly unit with a maximum of 2 small dogs allowed and a $100 nonrefundable pet fee per dog. Shared laundry facility and pool. The Continental Condominium offers our guests cozy, individually owned condos that are managed as vacation rentals available for short-term as well as off-season monthly stays. Located on Sunset Beach and just across the street from the Atlantic Ocean allows for a simple walk to the Sunset Beach Pier for fishing, or just to spend the day on the area's finest beach strand. When you are done at the beach, enjoy our outdoor pool for a lap or two (April through late-September based on the weather). You'll find a local market and shops next door to us. Wi-Fi available, On-site Shared Laundry Facility, grills for cooking that fresh caught fish. Non-smoking.
Parking is limited - 1 parking pass provided per unit. No exceptions!
Golf carts and boat trailers are not permitted at the Continental Motel.

Cannot give a bad review here! Fantastic location!!!!

Clean and walking distance to beach and pier. Lots of close shops just across the street. Great pool. We made a mistake and booked before we read the reviews. Then once I saw a few bad ones, I emailed the property management group. They assured me the room was clean and as pictured BUT they also offered me a full refund if I was still on the fence. Commendable since it was a mear 24 hours prior to my check in! We arrived and immediately loved the place. Our seven year old enjoyed the Murphey bed and we all stayed nice and cool with the kickin a/c. Thank you for the great get-a-way stay. We'll be back, no doubt. We met a family that's been renting here for over 15 years and two generations in their family.

Great location, dirty little place.

Location of our stay was amazing. Right across the street from the beach, everything was walkable. Our condo did not appear as pictured as there was now a Murphy bed plus a strange couch in front of it in the living space. It made the cramped space even tighter. The couch had no legs, which caused you to sit nearly on the ground pitched forward. Everything worked, it had hot water. The AC worked great. Sadly there was a hunk of hair on the bathroom wall that made us feel gross. Place was filthy. You wear must wear shoes at all times. People were quite friendly and again it was a great location.

It was difficult to enter in as the door kept getting caught on something. I went to the front desk

I liked the pool. The location was great for me. I needed more pillows the tv didn't turn on/off with the remote. The people upstairs were so loud when the stepped on the floor, I hope they didn't hear my tv on in the middle of the night. It was hard to get into the place as something was sticking- door jam. Thank you.

Had plumbing issues with the first rental but the property manager was great to work with us and got us in another place that was much better!

Mostly ok

We were ok until... We had roaches in the kitchen and one in the refrigerator. We had one sealed container and drinks in the fridge. Not sure how a roach got inside. Location was great and we had stayed there 2 previous trips with no bugs.
