Roach motel
This stay was not the greatest arrived on check in day no power. Smell of a rotten refrigerator due to no electricity. Microwave was broken. Service man there on day 2 to fix. Window Blind in bedroom were on the floor when we arrived. Blinds in living room sliding doors were broken, they replaced with used dirty blinds. Large roaches were found alive daily in all rooms of the apt. Was told it was on a monthly routine exterminator list. Don’t believe it. Throw rugs were filthy. Had to wear your shoes or your socks would be black. Day 3 no water due to a routine fix which the owner knew about but didn’t bother to tell us. This is a gated area and the code given to us did not work. Thankful for the neighbor who shared the code. All of this issues were addressed daily with the manager. Nothing was done about any of the above with the exception of 50% of the 1 at night because we checked in after hours. Mind you our plane didn’t last until 930. This apartment was nasty. Unfortunately had to stay as it was during the Houston rodeo and nothing was available for the amount of time we needed to be in Houston. I would hope they would do a full cleaning and update if this unit before the rent it again. Oh yeah forgot to mention the entry door when you went to open/close the whole exterior wall moved which made the door drag. This apt could have potential if they had better management/cleaning/maintenance.
