Enjoy peace and tranquility in Bellport Village, just 60 miles from NYC. Fully furnished 4 Bedroom / 2.5 Bath Cape Cod style mid-century home with gorgeous Great South Bay views available for rent. Enjoy unmatched views, Osprey watching and 10 minute walk to historic village. House has dual zone central air conditioning, large front yard, eat in kitchen, spacious living room, dining room, newly renovated full bathrooms, separate upstairs home office / family room with two desks. Upstairs bedroom has sweeping waterfront views. Adjacent to the house is a path to the water for kayaking and paddleboarding. Furnished outside patio includes furniture, lounge chairs, and gas grill. House comes with two adult bikes, single kayak, tandem kayak, and paddleboard.
Walking / biking distance to Bellport Village shops and restaurants, Bellport Country Club, and dock for playground and beach access. Renowned Gateway Playhouse at the end of the street.

Stunning views, serene landscape

This home exceeded our expectations. Not only does it have gorgeous views of the bay, but the house itself is very comfortable and expansive. Two couples can be completely private and separate from each other. In addition, you can kayak, bicycle, or walk to town to shop or go to a great restaurant. Harley and Kimberly are super hosts. Very kind and patient. Full marks!

Great House for the Family

The house was everything that was advertised. Lots of room for the extended family, including for meals around the table. The view over the bay is great and sunrises are stunning. The house has everything you could want, although we did not take advantage of the kayaks, etc because we rented the house for Thanksgiving, not in the summer.

Paradise

First cross country trip with our newly blended family of 8. Wonderful home with great views of bay. Wildlife (dear, foxes, birds, rabbits, etc) roaming the creek area in the yard was just amazing. Thanks to our hosts for allowing us a phenomenal vacation.

Another Visit to Remember

This was our 3rd stay at one of our favorite homes when we vacation. As always, the view of the harbor, the charm of the home, the spacious rooms and the location in the heart of Bellport make this home away from home hard to say goodbye to. We spent most of our 3 weeks sitting on the patio just taking in the views. We thank Harley and Kimberly for yet another stay to remember and hope to visit again next year!! Jim & Lynne

We highly recommend this house and our hosts. Kimberly and Harley were awesome to work with and Michael, their property manager was also very help. The house was perfect for our family. We were in town for our son’s wedding and it accommodated us all very comfortably. The kitchen is well appointed and ready for those of us who choose to cook. And did I mention the views of the bay

Sibling celebration

Very nice clean, quaint and cozy house. Love the area, the view and the house very much. The house suited our family of eight well. I would definitely rent the house again. The views of the Bay and fire Island are amazing. I cannot say enough about how nice and easy renting the house, and host was during the process. Thank you so much for opening your home. Another spectacular stay!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful home. It was just as wonderful as the first time, with it’s comfy beds, cozy rooms, eat in kitchen , large dining room and a view of the bay that can’t be beat! Although much of our time was spent on the front porch looking out into the water, the house has everything you need and more!! Our hosts, Harley and Kimberly were always available with any questions and were so kind and accommodating. We hope to make this our September “home away from home” next year. Beautiful view and bird watching!

We loved the view of the wetlands and bay and enjoyed the great bird watching from the front patio. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more (including bikes, kayaks and paddle board). The only problem was that the alarm had not been disarmed before our arrival, which made for an unpleasant start to our stay. Otherwise, it was a very relaxing place to spend time with family.

Multi generational gathering

Photos do not do this home justice. It is a warm spacious home with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces. The view of the bay and wetlands is stunning. We watched the osprey everyday and spotted deer, raccoons, rabbits and a tortoise that thrilled the children. We had three generations staying at the house and were able to entertain cousins, nieces and nephews throughout our weeks stay. Walking to the village for ice cream and visits to the park were easy. The house was spotless and fresh flowers and toys in the garage were appreciated. I highly recommend this property for a family gathering or a quiet retreat.

Just Beautiful!

What a wonderful two week stay we had at this magnificent Bellport property. The view alone was breathtaking and the house was charming and cozy. Four bedrooms with very comfortable beds, two and a half bathrooms with great showers along with spacious dining and living rooms made our stay a memorable one. The kitchen with it’s beautiful pine cabinets gave us that nostalgic feel of our childhood homes up on Long Island. The hosts were so helpful and accommodating and were more than gracious with their time to answers questions and to show us around. But the views of the bay were the showstoppers, with its beauty at different times of the day and night. Thanks again , Kimberly and Harley for sharing your delightful home. We cannot wait to stay again whenever we go up to Long Island to visit our family and friends!!! Lynne & Jim

Extended Family Trip to Long Island

The Hosts: Harley & Kim truly shared their home with us! They were super communicative, accommodating, and welcoming. Their friend Mike was also excellent and very helpful. The Home: It felt nostalgic even though we had never been. We shared the house with family - including my elderly grandmother who also found it very accessible and comfortable. There are TONS of books to peruse and a great movie collection. The view of the bay is unmatched and the local wildlife gave us a show every day - we saw many deer, rabbits, a couple of box turtles, egrets, swans, geese, osprey, and so much more! The house is secluded and quiet, but in the center of everything - the perfect balance. The Area: We chose the house based on its proximity to a family wedding. The community was quaint and welcoming with many shops and cafes to enjoy. My husband and children had never been to NYC, so we took a train into the city for the day, explored several Long Island beaches, and found a favorite Italian Restaurant (Castello’s). Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Incredible Property

We travel a lot. A LOT. And we have stayed in some pretty amazing properties around the world, but this house is in our top 3. The location is amazing with an unobstructed view of the bay and Fire Island. It's a decent walk into town for great food, boutiques, live theater and great food. The drive is quick, too, with plenty of parking. We never had a problem. Inside the house you'll find it spotlessly clean and comfortably decorated. The master bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is old-fashioned and very easy to navigate with plenty of everything, including coffee pot, tea pot and martini glasses! The shower in both downstairs baths have great pressure and hot water that stays hot. Laundry is in the basement down some stairs. The outdoor space is comfortable and abundant. I spent most mornings outside with my morning coffee watching the rabbits, two adorable goose families and the amazing osprey feeding their babies in the giant nest over the creek. There is a house manager close by in case you need anything and his check-in procedure was flawless and efficient. I cannot say enough about this place. We will definitely rent this property again next year if given the chance.
