Notre appartement est dans une maison de commerce de 1856. Il a deux niveaux.

Niveau inférieur:
Une cuisine complète est le centre de l'appartement. Dessus de four / cuisinière électrique. Rangement des aliments, cafetière Keurig, grille-pain, micro-ondes et toutes les autres nécessités de la cuisine. Désolé, il n'a pas de lave-vaisselle.

Salle de bain avec grande baignoire

La chambre principale a un lit King Size Tempurpedic avec un grand dressing. TV écran plat avec câble.

Solarium juste à côté de la cuisine. Fouton pour un espace de couchage supplémentaire et une table à manger.

Escalier en colimaçon monte au 2ème étage
Deuxième étage:

Salon avec canapé qui peut être transformé en un lit queen très confortable. Rocu tv à écran plat.

La chambre a accès à différentes configurations de lit sur demande. 2- Lits simples ou lit Queen disponibles

The place was lovely and well appointed.. Beds were comfy. The spiral staircase was a bit tight to maneuver but location was perfect. It was a great spot for us, close to family in Sound Beach and Miller Place.

Home away from home

We stayed here for almost three weeks while our home was being renovated. The host was very accommodating, we were able to have our dog with us and the kids loved staying upstairs and using the spiral staircase. The sun room was our favorite space, you could hear the frogs peeping in the evenings. We were very comfortable there!

Wonderful stay

We had a fabulous time at the 1856 House. House is thoughtfully appointed. Beds are very comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Great location for us - near family, Sound and Atlantic beaches. Hope to return again.

Jeff is the ultimate host. Very accommodating and welcoming. This is a unique place to stay that has history and character. Lived the fact that our dog was welcome to stay. We were in town for a baseball tournament and had easy access to restaurants and grocery stores as we needed.

My brother in law, husband and I stayed here when our family member's house could not accomodate all of it. The property is very bright, pleasant, and quiet and the manager could not have been more accomodating.

Lovely stay

We needed a last minute place that was pet friendly to attend a funeral. The owner was great and stayed in communication. The place was clean and quirky. It was a cold weekend of February - kitchen and bathroom floor is cold but ac heat for the everything else was great and customizable to our preferences. It was easy to find local eats and groceries.

Great stay!

The property has a good amount of space for traveling with family. We were in town for a tournament in Mount Sinai and it was very conveniently located to where the tournament was as well as the nearby town of Port Jefferson for leisure time. It is also close to some great beaches. The property owner is incredibly helpful and responsive and truly goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a great stay and everything they need for the property. The unit itself is very charming with a lot of finishing touches that make it relevant to its historical background. Highly recommend!

My wife and I bought this house before we were married and worked on it with our own hands. We would work in one area and live in another until the whole house was done. I grew up about 5 minutes away, so I know the area very well. My wife and I work as fencing coaches about 10 minutes away .My wife and I were married at the "Friary" which is next door.

We just love the location, when you drive / walk around you are in a hidden pocket of nature, while still close to everything else.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

I love this house and the area. It has everything accessible but it feels like you are away from it all. Half a mile and you can just jump in the harbor (high tide) go kayaking, fishing etc.
