Extremely Dirty

I hate leaving a negative review and want to make sure and say property manager did refund most of my money BUT I feel like this needs to be said because we chose the property based on the positive reviews and the emphasis on cleanliness. This property was extremely dirty. All the baseboards caked in dirt, blood on the bathroom door, the side door had a huge gap at the bottom that a small animal could easily fit through. A mattress was in the front yard. All doors had dirty stained fingerprints all over them. The rug was complete stained. I have no idea how there are reviews speaking do the cleanliness. When I contacted the host at arrival they replied that the cleaner normally does a great job but they would speak to them and to enjoy my stay. This was absolutely not from one guest. This was months of build up at the very least. I sent pictures they never replied to and told them we were leaving and they could refund my money or I would need to get VRBO involved. They didn’t reply until the next morning when I contacted VRBO and said they would refund the portion they got paid but couldn’t refund the portion VRBO took it was a difference of 68 so I agreed to just be done with it. I definitely appreciated the refund from the host instead of having to fight about it thru VRBO.

Our crazy hours due to volleyball tournament, it was nice to stay at a very comfortable, cozy place. My teenage daughter loved it. We definitely recommend. Thank you.

An exceptional place to stay. The booking process was seamless, and the host was highly communicative, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Check-in was effortless and stress-free. While the photos are lovely, the space is even more inviting and comfortable in person. We especially appreciated the vibrant artwork and the cozy atmosphere.The neighborhood was quiet, allowing for a restful night’s sleep on the very comfortable mattresses. The entire home was impeccably clean and bright, clearly maintained with professional cleaning services. The upgraded bathroom featured excellent water pressure, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed.This property is truly a hidden gem—worthy of 10 stars, not just five.

13th birthday getaway

We booked this for my daughters 13th birthday as we attended a concert. Location was easy to find, the girls LOVED the bathroom mirror. We had plenty of space for the 3 of us! Property owners were amazing at replying and let us check in a little early so they could get ready. I had never stayed in Dallas so i was worried about the area, but it was a very quiet neighborhood and we felt safe. Beds are amazingly comfortable as well.

Excellent!!

My 2 teens and I stayed in dallas for a concert and we had a great time! The home was super coxy and the absolute most comfortable beds, pillows and bedding ever! Everything was clean and smelled good too. Only suggestion is to add a little bit to the kitchen. Needed an oven pan and didn't have anything like that. Overall, very good stay and i felt safe there.

Great location but worn interior

The location was great. Very prompt attention to issues communicated with owner-plugged shower drain, broken blind slats, rug needed at door entries (tracking in leaves, dirt) Needs attention to bedroom blind slats, chipped paint in living room and water damage bathroom vanity. But overall very clean, beds comfortable. Suggestion- blanket/throw for living room.

Cozy, clean and relaxing

This is a great place. You have everything you need to relax and enjoy your getaway. I love that they have good recommendations as to where to get some good food. On top of that you just can’t beat the location.

Although it was a bit difficult finding the property (the numbers were hard to see in the dark) it was a great stay. Super close to food and entertainment, clean, and affordable.

This place was utterly charming, both inside and out -- great, artistic interior and terrific neighborhood. I only wish I'd been able to stay longer, and hope to come back next time I'm in town.

Nice little place with what you need in a perfect location. I really enjoyed having private gated parking and the host providing their local favorites. It was a bit diffiult to sleep with the noise from the tenants upstairs but thats to be expected

Comfortable Clean and Secure

Spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the very comfortable and bedding, powerful shower, well equipped kitchen, and off-street parking with electric gate entrance. Nice quiet neighborhood close to downtown. We will rent again next time visiting our daughter. A minor nit pick was the photo depicts a leather sofa with chaise, but in fact was furnished with a nice cloth sofa.

Dallas mini vacation

My stay was great from beginning to end. Communication with host was always easy. The whole place was spotless , sheets were clean and so soft. The place was only like 3 minutes from Bishops Art district and like 10-15 min depending on traffic from downtown.

Great location - a quick walk to Bishop Arts District shops/restaurants. Communication with the host was easy and accessible. The place was clean and well kept, bathroom was updated and a great sized shower. Beds and pillows were super comfy! Would definitely stay here again.
