The host, Collins, is so nice and very responsive. The house is located in a great neighborhood and is very clean and spacious. There were 6 adults and we had plenty of room and it felt like home. It was decorated for Christmas which we loved. It’s stocked with all the dishes and pots and pans that you’ll need. The back covered porch is nice to sit out and look at the lake and watch the deer. I definitely would book this house again and I recommend it.

Excellent host w great communication, beautiful home had everything advertised and we had a family Thanksgiving with everything we needed, great football watching space, nice neighborhood, comfortable beds. Cold weather prevented us from partaking of the lake and multitude of toys! However the view was lovely. Thank you for making our family event a memorable one.

The house was exceptional! Plenty of comfortable bedrooms and living spaces. We loved the kitchen, cooking 2 meals a day for a week, we had everything we needed in the fully stocked. The house also had a dishwasher and washer dryer for Guest convenience. The deck had plenty of seating and deer were spotted daily! Perfect experience from start to finish!

Beautiful, relaxing home

The property was just as listed. Beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds, excellent quality linens and fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed relaxing on the screened in porch. The host was very helpful and good communications. Would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful visit

The property was beautiful, from the little furry critters, to the deer herd that crossed the property every evening. Neighbors were friendly and the house was perfect and gave us all enough space to relax at our own pace

Great getaway.

The property was stunning and very spacious. My family loved everything about it. We only wish we had more time to relax there. The host was great and very helpful. The checkout process was straight to the point, clear and simple. We loved it.

Quiet Lake Lanier Family Spot

Collins and her family have an amazing house on the north side of Lake Lanier. The house is comfortable, well equipped, and very clean. The location to stores and restaurants is convenient. Close to Cleveland, Dahlonega, and Helen for many adventures. Highly recommend! Collins is one of the best most informative hosts!

Best Stay Ever!!

The host was absolutely great! Communicated so much from start to finish, this was very helpful. Had all the info for everything around the area and more! The house was beautiful and so clean, had tons of games, floats, paddle boards, and more for our kids! I would stay there again and reccomend for anyone else that has a family!!

Great house in a beautiful neighborhood

We are six friends from high school and this was our annual "girls' trip." We loved the house because it was perfect for our group with plenty of beds and bathrooms. We liked that the house was on the lake and the views were very nice. The neighborhood was fun to walk through and we were just a short drive from area shopping.

Worth It!

The house was perfect. It had everything we needed to have Thanksgiving. There was plenty of hot water for 8, the beds were comfortable and plenty of places to relax with a cup of coffee and watch the wildlife or a read a great book. There is plenty to do inside and around the home. We stayed a week. We rented a boat for a day, played golf at the local golf course which was really nice, did a winery tour in Dahlonega and played tennis/pickleball. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Family Thanksgiving Trip

We had a great time the house is beautiful and in a very quite neighborhood we saw deer every day. It’s very close to all the stores and activities. I did alot of cooking and the kitchen is well stocked with appliances and pots and pans. The views were Awesome and we had fun playing ping pong and roasting marshmallows everything was perfect 😊

Highly recommend! Fantastic host!

Amazing house in a beautiful neighborhood. I loved the screened in porch for coffee in the mornings and evening hangout. We saw lots of deer, babies, mommas and bucks. Ping pong games were fierce to let off some energy! The dock was a fun place to spend the day, paddle boards, kayak and floats.

This house is more like visiting a friend's home than a vacation rental. It was immaculately clean and well maintained, with kitchen appliances that look brand new (We loved the bright blue oven!) There were welcoming touches everywhere, from the salsa and chips, to the toiletries in the bathrooms, to the cozy throws for cool nights, to the supply of games on the lower level. We are a group of old friends who get together every year or two, and we loved that there are plenty of places to play games or just sit and reminisce. We particularly enjoyed the screened porch overlooking the lake which has a comfortable sitting area as well as a pub table for games or meals in the fresh air. We didn't take advantage of the lake, but there is a room with everything imaginable for kids to have fun playing off of the dock.The neighborhood is quiet and feels isolated, even though it is just behind a beautiful golf course and a few miles from a major shopping area. We enjoyed watching the young deer running through the back yard in the mornings.Collins is a very gracious host. She contacted me to talk about everything we needed to know, and was very responsive when I reached out with questions. We are already making plans to return next year!

Family Trip for a Wedding

A group of us stayed at this incredible house (8 adults total) for a family wedding and the house surpassed expectations. The house was laid out really well, the house was fully stocked with everything needed to have a great trip, and the house was located in a beautiful vacation. Unfortunately, it rained our entire trip but any pockets of sunshine and we went for runs around the neighborhood, paddleboarded on the lake, or just hung out in the super comfortable house (full decorated for Christmas, which was lovely!). Couldn't say enough nice things about the stay and for Collins, who was quick to respond and help us make the most of our trip.

Well appointed Lake House with quiet North end dock

We had a wonderful family retreat at the Holly Hideaway. The house has everything you would need to enjoy the lake even if you do not have a boat. We love the quieter north end of Lanier and were able to enjoy wake boarding, tubing and paddle boarding safely with our 6 year old twin grand kids. The adult kids were also very pleased with the amenities. If you love golf this would also be a great place to stay. I was not sure what to expect and overpacked. Just add your suitcases and groceries and you are all set. We will recommend this property to others.

Family Gathering

Opportunity to get the family together, which had not happened for a while. We gathered firewood in the woods, made a fire, had smores and a lot of fun! Enjoyed great dinner in one night (Dump & Bake recipe) and had a riot with Connect-4 game with the 7 yr old ending the night as the champion. Went to Suwanee to watch the kids soccer games and enjoyed an evening dinner at Montaluce Vineyard. Did some retail therapy at the outlet mall followed by Kani's Hibachi dinner. Enjoyed the screened in porch and all home spaces. In all, great memories!

Luxury @ Lake Lanier

Absolutely perfect property for our family lake vacation. From a great layout (kids in the basement) to very comfortable furnishings, the house and property met and exceeded all of our expectations. The homeowners were very helpful and their app for the property was awesome! The bedding and linens were exceptional (I even checked the sheets for the brand to buy for home) and the kitchen was well stocked with every appliance and accessory we needed. Really LOVED the two story dock and played with the kids for hours tossing a football around in the water. Rented a boat one day and got full use of the boat slip and lake… to include fishing and tubing. The location was perfect with Publix and Walmart only 10 minutes away. Beautiful neighborhood with peaceful evenings. Would definitely stay here again when returning to Lake Lanier!

I am a Georgia native who spends 97% of my time watching my daughter play softball, washing softball uniforms, planning softball team meals, and avoiding being asked to manage GameChanger stats at softball tournaments! The other 3% of the time I manage my private practice as a Licensed Master of Social Work and try to sneak away to the lake with my husband, daughter and Labradoodle as much as our schedule allows!

My family has been spending long weekends on Lake Lanier for the past 14 years! It started with renting a boat, then buying a boat, and then we lucked upon Holly Hideaway in the spring of 2021. Until we can make Holly Hideaway our full-time residence, we enjoy sharing our home with guests who have traveled as far as Texas and Oklahoma to spend time in North Georgia!

Guests enjoy a quiet, family-friendly lake retreat with a private dock in a low-traffic cove.

Guests of Holly Hidaway have access to our private dock, kayak, paddle boards, game room with ping pong table, and several board games for non-stop entertainment! To ensure our guests are comfortable, we deliberately furnished three of the 4 bedrooms with king-size beds. The fourth bedroom and additional bonus room each have two (2) twin XL beds which makes sleeping arrangements easy! Because we are parents, we know how cumbersome traveling with allllll the baby equipment can be. Therefore, we have stocked Holly Hideaway with all the essentials including a Pack n' Play, highchair, walkers, stroller (for walks; not for car rides), and more!
