This is a year-round property located right on the beautiful South End and East Side (sunny side!) of Skaneateles Lake. Incredible views, swimmable water through September, heat and fully functioning fire place for Fall and Winter months. Dock will be in the water through late Fall. The property is on a quiet, dead-end road. September-May, only 1 home past ours is occupied. 20 minutes from Cortland, 30 min from Skaneateles, 40 minutes from Syracuse.

Spacious and nice property with a great view. 25-30 minutes to a grocery, stores, and restaurants but if you are coming for the lake it’s perfect. There is a restaurant at the end of the road and it was solid. Well equipped with cooking utensils and supplies. The porches are nice.

Peaceful and Great Family Stay

Absolutely a must lake visit! The owner is extremely responsive, and the location is a great getaway for the family. It made a great base camp with the family for Syracuse graduation weekend. Away from any hustle….but close enough via car when you want to.

Nice alternative to staying in town

We selected this spot for Syracuse graduation. While it was about 40-45 minutes from town, it was so much more enjoyable and peaceful than staying in town. Lake location is fabulous. House is very spacious and has wonderful views.

Best lake location ever!

We spent a week with a family of three generations under one roof, and we had a blast. There is a lawn for croquet and CanJam, a fire pit, a screened-in porch, and, of course, a deck to sit and read, dip your feet in, or throw rocks in the water for the dog, which entertained our 3-year-old for hours.The "great room" was perfect for some to be grazing, some to be watching cartoons, and some to be working on puzzles or work-related items.The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a lovely stay.

Great time on the lake

Very happy with every aspect of the stay. The owners were very accommodating, very helpful. Great communication with them. The house was well stocked. Seems like the owners thought of everything. Lots of room. Great location on the lake with beautiful views a great shoreline. Highly recommend. .Will definitely stay again. Thank you

Comfortable Home

Well equipped kitchen. Beverage refrigerator a nice bonus! Beautiful lakefront. Was great having access to dock as we rented a boat. Open floor plan was great for 2 children and our goldens (much appreciated). Clean bathrooms! Outdoor space ie: deck and green space was well equipped with furniture. Peaceful quiet setting with friendly neighbors. Looking forward to next visit!

Skaneateles lakefront home

A wonderful classic Skaneateles lakefront home. Large, open floor plan with lots of light provided by windows and skylights. Great lake views and beachfront. The property was well equipped making for a comfortable stay. It sits adjacent to the Hinchcliff Family Preserve, a great place to hike and can be reached by hiking up from the back of the house, although a bit of a steep climb. Some very interesting cliffs near the quiet road into the property that might be promising for fossil hunting.The presence of a dog run was a convenient for care of the family pets. We had a great time over Thanksgiving and would love to spend a week there during the summer season.
