Private King Studio Close to the Action and Recently Renovated

Beautifully renovated king studio, 260 sq. feet on the second floor in the Drift on Inn. The unit has everything you need for a home base while exploring the Muskegon and Lakeshore areas. Enjoy modern comforts like WiFi, AC, a 42" Smart TV, and a modern walk-in shower you’ll love coming home to.

For our guests' convenience, there is also a microwave, a mini fridge with a freezer, and a Keurig with complimentary coffee, sugar, and cream. You’ll find all of your basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, and a hair dryer. If you would like maid service during your stay, just let us know and we’ll arrange it!
Please note: This unit does not have a dishwasher, oven, stovetop, or washer and dryer. One flight of stairs is required to enter this unit.

We are a small boutique property with only five rental units. There is a smart lock to enter the building as well as one on each of the rental units. There are two rooms on the first floor and three rooms on the second floor. Each floor has a general lobby area and there is a closet with extra amenities if guests should need them during their stay.

We have a large parking lot with one dedicated space for each rental. Guests will access their rental with a unique designated key code specific for their stay.

Step outside and you’re just minutes from Lake Michigan’s stunning shoreline, where sandy beaches and unforgettable sunsets await. Outdoor lovers will enjoy nearby Muskegon State Park and Hoffmaster State Park, both offering miles of scenic trails, dunes, and birdwatching spots.

Downtown Muskegon is a short drive away, filled with art galleries, museums, and historic landmarks like the USS LST 393 Veterans Museum and the Muskegon Museum of Art. For family fun, Michigan’s Adventure Amusement Park is within easy reach. You’ll also find an array of restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops nearby — perfect for savoring local flavors and unique finds.

Whether you’re here for a weekend escape or a longer adventure, The Drift on Inn is your cozy, convenient, and welcoming home away from home in Muskegon.

What we liked: the room looked just like it did in the photo online. It was clean, and the bed was fairly comfortable. What we didn’t like: 1. The view out the window was of the Dollar Store and its parking lot. Definitely not scenic. Also thought the “sitting area” outside was not real appealing. It had a dumpster right next to it. 2. Put some shelves on the wall in the bathroom! There’s no place to set any of your toiletries! 3. The bath soap bar for the shower was the size of a postage stamp - literally. It fell through the wire basket in the shower and broke into shards. 4. The ac/heating unit was one of those that sits right next to the bed and cycles on and off all night. Makes it hard to sleep. 5. The wall between rooms isn’t very soundproof. I was awakened 2 mornings at 5:00 a.m. by our neighbors who were actually not talking loudly, but I could almost make out everything they said.

Overall I thought this property was super cute! The property was very clean and cozy! The location was absolutely perfect, close enough to everything yet still far enough away to get a break of the chaos. I 10/10 recommend this property for anyone looking for a small getaway or a whole weekend trip! I look forward to going back to this property!
