Zen Cottage with Ocean Views

Tranquility awaits in this peaceful, Zen-like cottage centrally located near the Village of Del Mar. Enjoy ocean views, firepit, outdoor dining and grilling on the raised patio. A truly indoor/outdoor lifestyle with the fully retractable patio doors. Stylishly furnished with an Indonesian vibe!



You are renting the main house and will have exclusive use of the patios for this space (raised view patio, fire pit, bbq, magnolia courtyard, back meditation spot). The house is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath cottage. Master bedroom encompasses the 2nd floor, guest room is on the first floor. If you are traveling with infant/toddlers, there plenty of room to set up a pack-n-play in the master bedroom. Also, if you are traveling with another couple, we can make the downstairs beds into a king (please ask in advance).



This is a shared property. There may or may not be guests staying in Mindful Guest Cottage located in the rear of the property. Mindful is completely separate building from Zen Cottage. Entrance is in the alleyway and they do not have access to your property. You have almost no interaction or relationship to the guest suite. The only shared space is the garage, where the beach equipment and trash are stored.



Main house, front patio, front courtyard, bbq, firepit and parking in front of the cottage. These areas are for your exclusive use.

Garage space is shared and used only for beach equipment and trash (no cars)



Located within walking distance to shops, restaurant and the beach - all within 1/2 mile



You can walk to the Village for dining and shopping - it`s just over 1/2 mile. Beach also is 6/10ths of a mile. Most San Diego attractions require a car.



If you are traveling with 6 guests, please note: We sleep 4 in beds. We have an air mattress that can sleep 1 (or 2) and the sofa can sleep 1 (it does not pull out).

Both the front and rear units can be rented together. Please ask for dates, rates, availability.
