Over all was very nice and private.

This property was very nice and spacious, there is a lot of privacy and is beautiful. Walking distance to a nice plaza with restaurants, a bar, and shops. However it could’ve been a little cleaner. There was drips and smudges all over the walls and some of the dishes were dirty.

Beautiful Vrbo in Jacksonville, FL!

We had a wonderful stay in Jacksonville, FL at a perfectly located beautiful Vrbo. Right next to Boone park (which was very convenient for relaxing walks with our small dog) and within walking distance of great restaurants and beautiful historic districts. Also within easy driving distance of downtown Jacksonville and other major attractions. Many thanks to our wonderful Vrbo hosts!

Great stay!

This place was the perfect spot for me and my husband as we visited family in nearby Ortega. Very clean and well kept. Our puppy Percy also enjoyed the treats, tots, and handy fenced in yard. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend visit with our pup

We were in town to visit family and the guesthouse is in a quiet historic neighborhood. Very clean with all you need for a weekend getaway. It’s close to the all the areas and places we wanted to visit just outside of downtown Jacksonville. The little yard is fenced in so it was nice to have a private area to let our dog off her leash and the neighborhood was quiet to walk her if needed. It’s a very dog friendly rental! Shermar kept in good communication with us, made sure to give directions to the cottage driveway (which is around the corner from the main house), and check-in was very smooth. We really enjoyed our stay!

Cute & cozy

We enjoyed our weekend! The rental was clean and in a quiet neighborhood and we love that it had a fenced in backyard for the pups. Our only constructive criticism would be that it would’ve been nice if the grass had been mowed as we had to pull “stickers” off the pups paws every time we went outside. The upstairs stays pretty warm, so we had to turn the AC way down to be able to sleep, maybe a mini-split for the upstairs in the future. None of these things ruined our stay once we figured it out 😊

Cute and quaint!

The amenities need updated as this says it has a whirlpool/spa but doesn’t. Overall property was great! Owners did great job of proactively communicating how to find the home and park. The location is actually in a rock driveway that mimics an alleyway behind some homes. We felt very safe. The neighborhood was super quiet and calming. So much character. We stayed for 4 nights and came to town for the Gator Bowl and a Jags game. It was myself, my husband, and our 14 year old daughter. The drive to the stadium was 13-15 min, and traffic was super bearable. We went to the local mall on the hunt for some Jags jerseys and hit some traffic there on a Saturday afternoon. We were close to anything we needed within a 20 min drive or less. The house was clean and inviting and exactly as described/pictured. Our only suggestions: 1. The couch was pulled out and made into a bed ahead of time for us, which was kind; however, we didn’t know how to convert it back to a couch so we could all have a place to sit in the living room. Our suggestion is to include some instructions on how to work the couch conversion. 2. Replace the dish sponge or have a replacement on hand. The one we had was very stinky and made your hands smell like it even after washed. 3. Invest in a pizza cutter and pizza pan! ;) Overall this was a great visit and we will be back. My three suggestions didn’t impact our overall stay or my rating. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cute little home! We will be back!
