Welcome to our freshly remodeled cabin nestled into 40 beautiful acres of Aspen, Balsam, and Spruce forest. Unplug from technology and enjoy wandering our 2 miles of trails, curl up with a book on the oversized furniture, or play a game with the family at the kitchen table. Cap off the evening with a bonfire and some steaks on the grill! Remodeled in 2021!

Other things to note:
- Large driveway, plenty of room to park an RV, Boat, ATV UTV or Snowmobile Trailer.
- State snowmobile trails are only a couple miles away.
-Well behaved dogs are welcome in home, but not on furniture or beds. There is a $50 pet fee. Please be sure to include the pet in your booking.
-Enjoy access to entire home and trails throughout the property, except for a handful of cupboards we have locked. (Garage not available.)
-Weber charcoal grill available. Please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid.
-The home is not air conditioned, however it stays relatively cool, and there are ceiling fans throughout the home.
- There is no wifi service at the property.
-Screen porch to slip away from the bugs when they come out.
-Large private yard for a game of catch!

Nice property

The owners were in communication and the instructions were very clear for the property. Beautiful walking paths through the woods with bunny and deer sightings along the way. Very peaceful and nice to unplug while there. The decor is very cozy and welcoming.

The Effie Oasis is an incredible retreat space. The house was clean and stocked and the land, filled with named walking trails, gave space to explore and be in nature!

Great Spot!

Great location only about 15 minutes from Big Fork. Pretty buggy but what else do you expect being up north and luckily they have a screened in patio to still be able to enjoy the outdoors. They have everything you need and all of the furniture is super comfortable!

House in the Woods

Nice private modern house with a wooded setting. Saw several deer, grouse and rabbits. Grouse were drumming. We enjoyed our 5 day stay.

Comfy Country Cabin

It was great to spend some time with friends at Bob’s cabin. The trails are beautiful, the property is well kept, and the cabin is cute and well equipped! Lawn games, fire pit, perfectly clean,comfortable beds, etc. It’s a great place, and Bob is a terrific host.

Awesome place to get away

Beautiful property and beautiful home. Everything inside was very nice-furniture, appliances, kitchen utensils, dishware, bedding and towels. I really appreciated the hiking guide with the map-nice touch. And we loved the fire pit as well. I thought it was odd that Jehovah’s Witnesses showed up on the doorstep our first morning there since we were a few miles outside of Effie, and even further away from where I saw their church in Big Fork. Other than that weird encounter, my friend and I were extremely satisfied with the accommodations.
