We had an amazing stay from Friday to Sunday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with tasteful decor throughout. The location was perfect, only about 3 minutes from Massanutten Resort, which made everything incredibly convenient.We stayed with our family (8 of us total), and the layout worked wonderfully for everyone. The downstairs bedroom was ideal for my mom, who has mobility issues, and the two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms were an excellent feature.Overall, this home exceeded our expectations. We give it a 5 out of 5 and would absolutely love to rent from you again. Highly recommend!

Billy the owner is awesome and very accommodating! He is great at communicating and even let us check in early as our flight got in early for the wedding we were attending here. This house is awesome plenty of space for everyone and is located in a nice private and quiet street. Will definitely be back here next time we come to Virginia

Over all my stay was decent. I didn’t like how steep the driveway is. Also I didn’t like how the bathroom for the main floor was inside of the laundry room. The rooms are pretty spacious . There were a few minor marking on the furniture and walls. I did notify the owner about beer cans left on the steps at my arrival. The area is nice and quiet. I would book again.

Family Get Together

We got together with family from North Carolina and Pennsylvania for a weekend together. We had a great time with each other, and this place was perfect for it. We would come back to if/when we do this again. As we knew from previous visit to this area, this has to be one of the most beautiful areas on earth.

Lots of room

Large inside with plenty of space. Very comfortable with a nice outdoor sitting area. Kitchen stocked well. Garage use was a plus. Only issue we had was no rec passes available. Contacted the owner about use of the pool and he said he didn’t have time to set up the rec passes. Fortunately we had family who was able to hook us up. At least he said sorry. No other issues.

Mom’s 99th Birthday

The house and location were wonderful, very clean, comfortable and looked very inviting. The host answered quickly when we needed to call and was accommodating to a special request for the birthday..The downside was that the description of the house said there was a pool table and foosball and neither could be used because there was no foosball and the cue sticks were not usable, so my brother was disappointed. Then there were some kind of animals, possibly birds who managed to nest in under the floor on my brother and sister in law’s room, disturbing them very early in the morning. The kitchen also needs some small sharp knives and a new can opener. The final unfortunate thing was the owner accused us of not leaving on time when we were gone by ten minutes before 11. We do our best to be thoughtful guests and it was a sad way to end a very nice time.

Fell Short of Expectations

I’ve stayed at several VRBOs and always had great experiences—unfortunately, this was probably one of the worst. I took a risk booking a property with minimal reviews, hoping previous concerns had been addressed, but that wasn’t the case.Negatives:‱You can’t control the thermostat—it’s locked. When I asked for the code, the owners refused and offered to adjust it remotely, but I don’t think they ever did. We arrived to find it nearly 80 upstairs, and there were no fans to help with airflow.‱Large black ants inside the house—not something I expect in a rental.‱Game room was unusable. Foosball had no ball, pool cues were missing tips, no chalk, and the table isn’t level. These issues were flagged in older reviews and still haven’t been fixed.‱The railings going up stairs to the 2nd level dangerously loose. A serious safety hazard that should be addressed immediately.Positives:‱The home has been recently renovated with modern showers and nice furniture.‱Centrally located and close to resort amenities.‱Spacious layout with plenty of room.This home has potential, but the owners’ lack of responsiveness and failure to fix known issues makes it hard to recommend.
