Great location for river access (about 0.2 mile down to the waterfront), perfect spots for swimming and deeper holes for good fishing. The beach area was clean and the privacy was nice. Everything we needed for cooking was provided, we did not use the fire pit due to the dry conditions and windy days but the setup for outdoor gatherings is nice. Comfortable beds and goos shower water pressure.
This place is wonderful and we plan to come stay here again. Very relaxing and quiet neighborhood along with being right by the river. Host kept us updated and was helpful for local activities.
Everything was ez and comfortable. Quick 5 minute walk down to the river or 5 minute drive to the âslabâ. Longhorn caverns is ez 20 minute drive. Plenty of kitchen spices, cookware etc.
Very clean! Jacki was extremely helpful with all my questions about local places to eat and see while we were there. Great location! We were able to go to the Burnet Bluebonnet festival, strawberry farm in marble falls, and cool off near the slab close to the house. It was a great getaway for our little family! Highly recommend!
Beautiful place inside and out. Our host, Jacki, was super attentive to any questions I had during the entire stay. The view is amazing from the back porch. Very comfy beds as well. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again.
I am a real estate broker from Austin who loves to travel and when I saw this cottage on the Llano and saw all of it's potential, I just knew it would become a favorite spot.
This little house just has a happy vibe. Not to mention that you can walk out your back door and you are on one of the prettiest rivers in Texas. This section of the river feeds into Lake LBJ so deep water is just steps away. From here you can swim, kayak, fish, tube all to your hearts content. The 400+ year old oak tree is one of my favorite features and houses many avian residents.
This is a quiet section of the river without boats blasting past. That enables you to enjoy the scenery and the wildlife to it's full potential. I've seen white pelicans fishing in the river right from the back patio as well as fox, deer and a variety of birds. Sunsets and star gazing are great from here as is the view of Packsaddle mountain from the rivers edge.
