This property was absolutely perfect for our getaway in every way imaginable. Nestled in a serene rural location, it provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, which was especially beneficial for our high-anxiety dog during the chaotic 4th of July celebrations. The peaceful surroundings allowed us to relax and enjoy the stunning beauty of nature.Throughout our stay, we were delighted to observe a variety of wildlife. From graceful deer wandering through the trees to playful rabbits hopping about, the area was teeming with life. We were also captivated by the appearance of a vibrant tiger moth, which added a splash of color to our outdoor experience. One of the most astonishing moments occurred when we spotted two black bears sauntering past the hot tub; it was a breathtaking sight that we will not soon forget. The property was truly a haven, and every moment spent there felt special. Everything we needed was provided, including a wonderful, fully stocked coffee bar. Our grandson had a great time beating us at foosball and regularly challenged us on a unique tic-tac-toe board. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking tranquility and a close encounter with nature!

À propos de l’hôte

Image de profil de l’hôte
We are best friends who met over 10 years ago down in South Florida. We both love traveling with our families and have traveled together many times but with 9 kids between us, we have always used Airbnb to find homes that accommodate us all and have everything we need to make the stay comfortable for everyone in our group. This is where we got the idea to open an Airbnb together. When Kelly and her husband moved to Bedford, Pa. my family came out to visit right away and fell in love with the area. We still reside in South Florida so we absolutely love coming back and enjoying the peaceful pace Bedford offers but really like being so close to so many different amazing places to visit. Our families have put a lot of thought and love into making Whispering Pines Retreat a place that we hope everyone that comes will enjoy as much as we do. We are both available to answer your questions and Kelly, along with her husband, are just a few minutes down the road if you need anything during your stay with us. We look forward to hosting you soon!
