🦆 The Mallard Manor | Hip 5 bedroom historic home close to campus
Welcome to the Mallard Manor: Our five bedroom historic home in the heart of Eugene will take you down memory lane. Our home is inspired by our state's most prestigious academic institution, University of Oregon, and pays homage to its rich history of athletics. Centrally located, our home is walking distance to many of our college town's top attractions.
The house was surprisingly spacious and exactly as expected. River was very responsive and helpful. The location was fantastic. It was a little noisy on Friday night but I think that’s the price you pay for location. Highly recommend!
The mallard mansion was the perfect accommodation for a weekend in Eugene. It was perfectly located to campus and autzen staudium! Perfect for our large group!
The house is old and has some quirks (like placement of light switches) and loads of charm. The decor leans into the theme and is really fun. We had a great, easy stay here.
We really enjoyed our time at the Mallard Manor. The living room was big enough to hold our whole group for card games and conversation. We loved the different themed rooms and the decor throughout. Overall, we were really happy with the location, as it felt close to everything in Eugene!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this property! The host was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Communication was seamless; they were always quick to respond to any questions or requests, making us feel supported throughout our time there. The property itself was just as described—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. I highly recommend this host and would love to stay again in the future!
We had a wonderful stay at Mallard Manor! The home is beautifully decorated and Duck themed throughout which was really fun. The home is older and has lots of fun and funky spaces. Our kids loved the attic space. The beds were very comfortable and there were lots of thoughtful details throughout. We were visiting family in town and the location was close to downtown and stores and restaurants which was so convenient. Very comfy and cozy!
very spacious home with a 1930"s feel and Go Ducks theme.
Staying in Robert's Mallard Manor helped us feel a part of the busy city of Eugene with Oregon Ducks love! The home is a treasure of 1930"s with some older home "vibes." Character of the home and recent updates fit well with the community. We loved having play space for the children in the upper floor and adult space for quiet conversations. Thank you Robert for sharing your home!
We had 10 adults for a big game weekend in Eugene. The house is in a perfect spot if you want to enjoy town but not be surrounded by college students. Plenty of shopping and food within walking distance and campus was a quick Uber ride
The house it’s self had everything we needed with plenty of space for us all to relax and enjoy each others company. The hosts were quick to respond to questions or concerns.
Points forts : Communication, emplacement et exactitude de l’annonce.

We're grateful for Tom's stay and feedback and regret that he didn't reach out sooner so that we may have addressed any shortcomings during his stay. We are always happy to address any issues promptly to ensure our guests time with us is as enjoyable as possible.
We have since upgraded our pots and pans, restocked our kitchen essentials, replaced the propane for our grill, and gave the patio area an extra deep cleaning. We are committed to continuously improving our home based on guest feedback to ensure everyone has a comfortable and memorable visit, and encourage our guests to reach out if there are ever any issues that we may improve upon.
I'm happy that we have since hosted groups who have considered their stay with us a five-star experience, and we look forward to continuing to provide our future guests with top notch hospitality in Eugene.
If you're looking for a beige box hotel room – this isn't it! There's an agenda to this property, and it wears it well. Simply green everywhere!
Now, we're just first-time visitors to Eugene with no ties to its University, but we still found this quirky decor charming. The property has a good location, a convenient off-street parking space, and a full set of amenities that sometimes exceeds standard rental expectations (local K-cup coffee, hypoallergenic laundry detergent, plenty of dishes that are – you guessed it – green).
We found our host communicative and to be honest, for the price, there was a very good amount of space. Should our future travels bring us back to Eugene, we'll certainly consider Mallard Manor again!
My family and I had such a wonderful time at Mallard Manor. The owners met us upon arrival to let us in and show us around in case we had questions. They made themselves available by cell phone for any needs and were quick to respond to our questions.
There is so much space and a wonderful, large dining table for family meals or as a central location for food for a gathering. Four of us work remotely and between the living room, the office, the dining table, and the breakfast nook, there is plenty of space for folks to spread out. You could even use the dormer level as there is a neat sitting nook up there.
The location makes it ideal for downtown, West Eugene, and highway access. There is a local coffee shop or a Starbucks about a block away, and local favorites like Wandering Goat and other places downtown are less than a mile, so also walkable. The Kiva and Whole Foods are a 5 minute drive and Safeway or Market of Choice aren't more than 10. We are former Eugene residents and were happy to be so near our favorite places.
The house is right on 11th st, but there is covered parking behind the house, so your vehicles can be safely parked. You would think it's noisy to be directly on 11th, but it's not, it's a really cozy house that feels like a large cabin in the woods
Highly recommended, we will be back for Christmas!
