This hidden gems community beach is only a short walk around the corner where you can enjoy an absolutely gorgeous sunset. Traveling with your families best friend? Perfect, dogs are allowed on this beach, Fairport Harbor Beach and along the walking trails at Mentor Lagoons Park if leashed. Be sure to take the entire family to visit Mentor Headlands Beach State Park for the largest Beach in NE Ohio.

While this home is equipped to host 8 people, we think the perfect group size is 5-6. We`re happy to host all 8, but keep in mind it will be a little cozier within this 1100sq ft ranch.

Is that a cloud you`re sleeping on? Nope, just the memory foam mattresses we stock in every bedroom. The master bedroom is equipped with a king size mattress while the other bedrooms are stocked with full queen sized beds. Feel free to sleep in, each room has black out curtains to keep the rooms dark throughout the day.

Even the living room pull-out sleeper sofa comes equipped with a memory foam mattress. So no need to draw straws on who sleeps where, because every room in the house is it`s own little sanctuary.

Sure, eating at the finest restaurants can be fun, but sometimes we all need a nice home-cooked meal. That`s why our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you`ll need to cook you and your family a nice dinner. Also take advantage of the three burner grill outside!

For our early birds, the kitchen is equipped with a Keurig prepared to make single cups of coffee (K-cups) or an entire pot. Your first morning will have K-cups provided.

This beautiful, corner lot, provides natural shading from two large cotton trees throughout the day and with you located so close to the lake, you will always have a breeze. To enjoy the great weather further you can relax outside near the fire pit and roast some marshmallows at night. (Keep in mind fire wood is not provided and must be brought by the guest)

The home is located on an island surrounded by our local marsh. Here you will have amenities such as a small grocery store, gas station, ice cone shop, pizza shop, park and gas station. The island is also bike friendly so feel free to bring your own bicycle to enjoy local sights. Only a five minute drive up 44 S, you will find restaurants, large box grocery stores including, Sams club, Walmart, Target, Meijer and Heinen`s.

Once the sun goes down, the family can enjoy a 43` smart tv that has a number of streaming apps to log into including Disney +, Netflix, Hulu, Youtube TV and more. (Please bring your own log in info). Or if tv isn`t of any interest, push the coffee table aside and bring out the board games or cards stocked for you.

The number of state and local parks nearby alone will make you wanting to come back for another stay. These range from waterfront views to forest journeys. One of which is located just down the road that is great for birdwatching, home of Bald Eagle nests. (Mentor Marsh)

Only 25 minutes east, you will find our Wine Country where over 15+ wineries are located. Enjoy driving through Madison Ohio in paradise.

Only located 35 minutes from downtown Cleveland, you can experience local Baseball, Basketball and Football games throughout the year along with `The Flats`, A Christmas Story House, West Side Market, Cleveland Museum, Jack Casino, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Playhouse Square and East 4th Street.

40 Minutes west you will find Geneva on the lake, a local hot spot for outdoor activities, motorcycle events and great food! Here you will find go-carts, ziplining, canoes and many more family friendly activities.

Community beach is available to guest just a short walk around the corner. Pets are allowed if leashed.
**Please keep in mind the path down to the beach is a grass hill maintained by the city. This is not suitable for people who have trouble with inclines/declines. Mentor Headlands State Park or Fairport Beach are both suited for people with physical disabilities.
No access to the detached garage.
Street parking is allowed however please follow the city ordinance listed below
-Park opposite side on street as fire hydrant
-No parking in street between hours of 2am-5am

Secluded, quiet, peaceful area. Roads are bike friendly with multiple walking paths along the lake and local marsh nearby. The island has fire department, elementary school, library, grocery store, gas station and pizza shop within walking distance. Other amenities are within a five minute drive both in diamond center and mentor on the lake.

Traveling around on the island and beach is best with bikes. Trails along the Mentor Marsh are best for walking.

Washer and dryer are available for use with your own detergent. Please note that if the previous guest does not start a load of laundry per the check out tasks, then there may be a load of clean laundry in the dryer.

Placing all linens/towels in washing machine and running with cold water on the day of check out
Please ensure the yard is cleaned up after your pet relieved themselves outside.
Home is secure upon leaving.

**Important** Please make sure you read and comply with these rules:

NO SMOKING IN THE HOME AT ALL
NO Excessive guests
NO Mailing packages to the home
NO Partying of any kind inside or on the property. Please respect the community. Noise level must be minimal after 10PM. There is a noise level city ordinance we do not want complaints. Violation of the noise/party rule will result in the police being called, termination of your reservation. We must respect the peace of the community!

If we are lucky enough to host your families pet, please ensure they remain off the furniture and if left in the home alone, be left in a crate.
All pets must relieve themselves outside and guests are responsible for cleanup.

Please only flush toilet paper and nothing else down toilets. There is a garbage disposal, but please refrain from putting large pieces of food into it, a fee will be assessed to have a plumber come and make repairs if clogs during your stay.

PENALTIES FOR THE FOLLOWING, Claim will be filed with Airbnb.
**Stolen towels; $10 per towel, no matter the size.
**Smoking in the home; up to $500
If you smoke outside please do not dispose of your used cigarettes inside the home or throw them on the property. Keep the community and home clean!
**Late Checkout past 10am without our consent. $75 (If time is needed please ask)
Pets are allowed up to 2 with a $45 fee
**If you damage the home, a claim may be filed through Airbnb.

If damage is noticed upon check in or happens during your stay, please reach out to your host. I am understanding of situations can happen, but I need to know that something happened.
