A beautiful combination of midcentury architecture, Danish modern furnishings, natural materials, and enlarged and updated bathrooms and kitchen make this 1957 ranch the perfect location for a season in Palm Springs or just a great relaxing long weekend. The house sits behind a yard full of mature trees, palms, and a circular driveway. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, a large open floor plan, a beautiful private backyard with a pool and spa, and a large family room with billiards table thereâs plenty of space and amenities for family and friends.
The open plan layout with 2 living areas, a dining area, and the kitchen means the entire family can hang out together. This space features an original slump stone fireplace rising up to the vaulted open beam ceiling.
Thereâs a comfortable seating area and a second relaxing area for watching the smart TV. Windows on the front look out to a private courtyard with an outdoor dining area and gas grill. A wall of windows and French doors on the other side of the space look out to the pool and covered outdoor living room.
Just off the kitchen is a large family room which has another fireplace, a seating area with a smart TV, and a billiards table. Thereâs also a desk should your time away also include some work. Thereâs a convenient half bath in this part of the home along with the laundry room with a door out to the pool.
The kitchen is equipped for cooking and includes a large work island with beautiful quartz countertops and updated stainless steel appliances including a 5-burner gas range and oven. Adjacent to the kitchen thereâs a dining table with seating for six. Just around the corner is a butlerâs pantry with additional storage and small appliances.
The primary suite has a king bed, plenty of closet space, a smart TV, and French doors out to the pool. Its en-suite includes separate vanities, a large soaking tub, and a walk-in glass-enclosed shower with a bench and plenty of room for 2!
Down the hall, there are two guest bedrooms. The first has 2 double beds and the second has a queen bed. Each has its own smart TV and closet and is tastefully decorated with contemporary bold graphic wallpapers. The queen bedroom has direct access to a shared hall bath which includes a large walk-in glass-enclosed shower and commode separated from the large vanity. A clever design which allows two people to get ready in the morning at the same time.
The very private backyard features a 15â x 32â pool with a tanning deck and a 6-person above-ground ground hot tub. Thereâs a large sheltered outdoor living room to get some shade but plenty of chaise lounges for soaking up the sun! If you like to get your game on thereâs a basketball hoop in the side driveway.
RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE:
**Pool heat is optional for $30-$80 per day. This fee is not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book.
**Minimum age for every guest is 25 unless accompanied by a parent. No groups larger than 6 (regardless of age) and no parties.
**Palm Springs has strict noise, occupancy, and parking rules, INCLUDING THAT NO MUSIC IS ALLOWED OUTSIDE AT ANY TIME. Violation of these rules will result in a $1000 fine and immediate eviction from the house with no refund.
**Included in your booking is an accidental damage waiver fee which applies to covered damage up to $2000. Rules and limits apply. See the rental contract for more information.
**On rentals of 28-nights or more renter is responsible for the entire gas and electric bill from check-in to check-out based on meter reads. A $3500 utility deposit will be collected after booking and will be applied to these bills. Any remaining balance will be refunded to you.
**The City of Palm Springs requires an additional written contract which you must sign after you book and requires that you send us a copy of your ID before you check in.
