Great for Families, this renovated condo has new appliances, furniture, flooring and bedding. In the loft there are 6 bunk built in bunk beds. Shipwatch has its own boat ramp, courtesy docks for boats and jetskis. There are 2 pools, 2 clubhouses, tennis and pickleball courts. Our unit is on the second floor and there is not an elevator. 2 easy flights of stairs. Beach Chair service is available and you are right down from the Flora-Bama.





If you move anything, please move it back. Check the listing photos to make sure everything is where it goes. Must be 25 or older.

Beach Get Away

My family and I had an awesome stay at a condo at Shipwatch in Perdido Key. We were right on the beach and the pool was right beside us. The kids absolutely loved this! There were 16 of us and the condo easily handled this. I would rent here again.

Beautiful

We were looking for a place for our large family to get together for the holidays. This place was perfect. It's a beautiful condo in a beautiful location. Only complaint was there was no extra toilet paper and paper towels and only enough dish soap to wash one time.

Great view and very close to the beach

It has an amazing view, and pretty much as close to the beach that you can get. We had 6 adults and 8 kids and we had plenty of room. Condo looks a little small but no one was running over the others. The biggest disappointment was the description says there’s 2 pools, pickle ball, grills, gym etc but doesn’t say they’re not easily assessable, they’re across the busy road. Beds were comfortable. Lots of beach things for our use. Great vacation!

Great property but poor communication

This condo is large and is equipped to sleep many. This includes two large refrigerators and plenty of sleeping space, including a large set of bunk beds. Located right on the beach, adjacent to the pool, across the street from a convenience store, and a 15-min walk to Flora-Bama bar, the location is excellent. The view from the balcony is wonderful, and it is nice not being in a high rise. The primary concern is communication with the owner. While he initially indicated that an early check in and late check out would likely not be a problem, I never heard from him (or his sister) again. My phone calls, voicemails, and e-mails were not (and never) returned. In the meantime, I continued to receive what appeared to be pre-written and pre-scheduled (for delivery) VRBO messages. Less than one day into the stay, the owner's sister messaged and asked that leave a 5-star review but at the same time would not respond to any question or return a call. Luckily, no unexpected problem occurred during our stay. If, however, something had occurred, I would be concerned that the owner or his sister would not have responded or otherwise been able to provide assistance. Other than the cleaning service, there does not appear to be any nearby local contact.

Great Location but Lots of Issues

We decided to stay here as two families for a few nights just to get away. We had a wonderful time at the beach. The weather was nice and the kids had a blast playing in the ocean. The unit itself is very nice and spacious with very comfortable beds and a really fun bunk-bed setup. Now for the issues. First the properties are not well maintained. The buildings just look old. There is no elevator. The handrails going up the stairs were coming out of the wall in some places. The pool was nice, but it was full of sand and all of the chairs in the area were old and the paint was flaking off of them. At first glance when we entered the condo everything looked great. But after two full days here are some of the things we found. We found 3 live roaches and lots of ants in both downstairs bathrooms and kitchen. The cleaning company does not do a good job. When we came in there was already sand on the floors. The bed skirt in the master bedroom has a long brown stain on it. One of the pans had leftover eggs on it so it hadn't been cleaned, and the fridge and a couple of other places were dirty. The dryer doesn't work properly. It stops about 5-10 minutes no matter the setting. To dry anything, you have to start the dryer over and over many times. I sent a message to the owner with all of this information and none of this was ever acknowledged. Like another reviewer said communication was not great. We loved the location but doubt we will stay here again.

Perfect for our trip

We had 6 adults and 3 young adults/teens. The upstairs area suited our younger folks perfectly. The loft with the bunks was so fun! The three king beds for the parents was lovely. Our only complaint was lack of elevator to get to the condo. Makes it difficult for older adults.
