The property is right next to the Embassy Suites Hotel. The cute historical town Dorado offers great dining experiences and easy access to the endless fun and beautiful places in Puerto Rico. Not Oceanfront, same issues as other reviews. Hot water absolutely burns you as it comes and goes. Many kitchenette utensils not provided 3 eating spoons. Shows BBQ grill on the page its there but no tanks owner said they dont advertise it and i can go buy one. One cup coffee maker very dirty. Knives in poor condition. I reach out with pictures to the owner. She wrote me that rather than picking on everything it will lose the meaning of the stay and she was proud of what she offers. I payed close to $2000 us dollars and expect to have all need in working condition and if it states beach front it should be !!!! Not near the beach.

Disappointed by the Condition Despite Prime Location

I've rented over a dozen vacation homes, and unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience. While the house is in a prime location, which is likely why it continues to be booked, the condition of the property was unacceptable, especially for the price point.None of the sliding doors closed or locked properly. The doors were not flush with the wall or sealed correctly, which not only made me feel unsafe but also raised serious structural concerns. When I contacted the host about the main sliding door not locking, I was told to "keep playing with a pin" that they use as the primary lock, a makeshift solution that did nothing to ease my concerns about security.The downstairs bathroom was even more alarming. It had a drop ceiling with visible water stains and open gaps. It was clearly not up to code, and it felt unsanitary and unsafe.As someone born and raised in Puerto Rico, I was excited to come back and enjoy a relaxing stay. Instead, I was embarrassed to host my family in a house that felt neglected and poorly maintained. This home has potential due to its location, but until major updates and repairs are made, I cannot recommend it.

Anniversary Trip

We stayed at this property for our 40th anniversary and it was just fine. It was nice and close to the beach and the complex was pretty deserted. A couple things we wished we would have had available were beach chairs and a cooler. But that could be just because we got used to having that at the place we stayed the year before. It took us a full day to find where the gate opener was, until someone showed us what theirs looked like and we started looking for it. But we didn't need it until then anyway. The host was very responsive the couple of times I reached out. Thank you for sharing your property!

Great Location and Neighborhood

The property was just as described. It was very well kept up and everyone was friendly and helpful. It was great being right at the beach and pool and close to everything's we needed. Wold definitely stay again.

Whenever we arrived at this property it was a hassle, we had to wait for someone to open the gate. Just to get into the place. It was late, around 3am. It was closer to 4 before we were actually let into the place. As soon as we opened the doors to the place, we were smacked in the face with a strong odor, we had to go and get a can of Lysol in hopes it would help with the strong odor. The kitchen was so nasty with dirty sponges, rags, and dishes left in the drying rack. The dishes that were put away, were left with food residue, and we had to hand wash all dishes before using them. The counters were sticky. The fridge door doesn’t stay shut unless you hold it shut for a minute. When showering the water is either scolding hot or super cold. My three year old was burned twice while taking a shower, the temperature changes in seconds. The beds looked and smelled like they were not changed. The pillow cases were yellow. At 4am, we had to change the sheets to the beds, it was the last thing we wanted to do. The futon in the living room was broken. The sliding back door does not lock properly. The key fob to enter the pool area is broken. The washing machine was broken and the door did not shut, we were unable to wash clothes. And the host is trying to charge us 500 dollars for “breaking” a washing machine that we were never able to use. And also, saying we left the place “trashed” whenever we actually left the place in a better state than we showed up in.

The ocean. The description of the property was a like it said it was a 4 bedroom 3 bath it was only a 2 bedroom 2 bath. Didn’t have access to the beach like it said it would. The property was not clean, bathroom smelled like pee, ants everywhere, coffee maker was disgusting.
